Limo service GTA: one booker for every city
The Greater Toronto Area is a single region on a map and a dozen separate journeys on the ground. A wedding in Brampton, a board meeting in Markham, a flight out of Pearson and a graduation in Oshawa all start from different driveways and cross the same few highways at the same bad hours. A limo service GTA clients rely on has to treat each city as its own trip, with its own drive time, rather than quoting one flat idea of "the suburbs".
TorontoBlackLimousine.net is booked online and dispatched from Toronto around the clock. Pick your pickup address in the GTA, set the destination, choose the vehicle, and the booker shows a fixed fare for that exact trip before you pay. The city pages linked below give the distances, venues and highway notes for each area.
Which cities are in the GTA?

The Greater Toronto Area is the City of Toronto plus four regional municipalities: Durham, Halton, Peel and York. Together they hold 25 cities, towns and townships. Everything beyond that ring, including Hamilton, Niagara and Barrie, is outside the GTA but within easy chauffeur range.
The boundary matters less than the geography. The 905 area code, the shared highways and the regional boundaries tell you where one city's traffic becomes another's. The sections below walk through each region and link to the page for each of its main cities.
Peel Region: Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon
Peel Region covers Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. Mississauga is home to Pearson, the Airport Corporate Centre and the Square One area, while Brampton has a large wedding and banquet market. For both, see the Mississauga limo page and the Brampton limo page. For airport transfers specifically, the Pearson airport limo page covers terminals, waiting time and the routes into the region.
York Region: Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and north
York Region lists nine local municipalities: Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, King, Markham, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Vaughan and Whitchurch-Stouffville. The busiest limo markets are the southern cities along Highway 7 and Highway 407. We have pages for Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Newmarket and Aurora, the last of which is a gateway to cottage country by way of Highway 404 and Highway 400.

Halton Region: Oakville, Burlington and Milton
Halton Region consists of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville. This is the QEW corridor, with lakefront dining, golf and wedding venues, and the road to Niagara. See the pages for Oakville, Burlington and Milton. Burlington sits beside Hamilton, so trips here often connect to the Hamilton airport page.
Durham Region: Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa
Durham Region has eight local municipalities: Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Oshawa, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge and Whitby. Most limo traffic comes from Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa along Highway 401. See Pickering and Ajax and Oshawa and Whitby, and Scarborough for the eastern edge of the City of Toronto itself.

How far is each GTA city from downtown Toronto?
These are rounded road distances from Union Station with typical drive times. They are estimates, and the time depends heavily on the hour.
| City or area | Approx. distance | Typical drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Scarborough Town Centre area | 20 km | 25-45 minutes |
| Mississauga City Centre | 28 km | 35-60 minutes |
| Vaughan / Markham / Richmond Hill | 35 km | 40-70 minutes |
| Oakville | 40 km | 45-75 minutes |
| Pickering | 40 km | 40-70 minutes |
| Brampton | 45 km | 50-80 minutes |
| Newmarket / Aurora | 50-55 km | 55-85 minutes |
| Milton / Burlington | 55-60 km | 60-90 minutes |
| Oshawa / Whitby | 55-65 km | 60-90 minutes |
Pearson to Union Station is about 27 km and usually takes 30 to 50 minutes by road. The booker uses the exact addresses to show the fixed fare, so these figures are for planning, not billing.
The highways that decide your drive time
Four corridors carry most GTA traffic. The 401 runs east-west across the north of the city, the Gardiner Expressway and QEW run along the lake, the 400 and 404 run north, and the tolled 407 runs across the 905. The chauffeur picks the route on the day. The worst windows are the weekday afternoon peak, Friday evenings and event nights downtown. Before any long trip, Ontario 511 shows incidents, closures and camera views.

Airports and stations serving the GTA
Most GTA trips involve an airport. Pearson sits in Mississauga and is the main international gateway, with pickups at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while Billy Bishop is close to the downtown core. For both, flight tracking is included on every pickup; we offer 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones. See the airport limo Toronto guide to choose between airports.
Ways to travel across the GTA compared
| Option | Best for | Cost note |
|---|---|---|
| GO Transit and local transit | Commuter-corridor trips at standard hours | Lowest |
| TTC | Trips within the City of Toronto | Lowest |
| Rideshare | One or two passengers, short hops | Meter plus surge |
| Car service or limo (this site) | Airport runs, events, luggage, groups | Fixed fare via booker |
| Rental car | Self-driving across several cities | Rental plus fuel and parking |
Transit is the better choice for a solo commuter on a corridor it serves well. A chauffeur is the better choice for a wedding party in Brampton, a family at Pearson with bags, or a client who must reach a Markham boardroom on time.
Weddings, events and business across the 905
Most GTA bookings fall into three groups: airports, events and business. For weddings, see the wedding limo page; for concerts and games, the concert and sports limo page; for a larger group, the party bus Toronto page. For meetings, the Toronto car service page and the chauffeur service Toronto page cover single rides and multi-stop days.
Vehicles, bookings and cancellation
Vehicle classes run from the Executive Sedan (up to 3) and Luxury SUV (up to 6) to the Executive Sprinter (12 to 14), Stretch Limousine (8 to 10, hourly) and mini-coach or party bus (20 to 30, hourly). Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are confirmed at booking. Cancellation is measured from pickup: more than 72 hours is free; 72 hours or less is 10%; 48 hours or less is 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%. See the fleet and the FAQ for detail.
Beyond the GTA
If your trip leaves the region, see Ontario for cities such as Hamilton, Niagara and Barrie, or the routes page for Ottawa and Montréal.
