What does limo service in Scarborough include?

Limo service in Scarborough means a licensed, insured chauffeur and a vehicle matched to your group, picked up at your Scarborough address and driven to Pearson, Union Station, Billy Bishop, a wedding, the Toronto Zoo or a night out. The fare is fixed and shown in the booker before you pay.

Scarborough is the eastern end of Toronto, and it covers more ground than most visitors expect: suburb, ravine, campus and industrial park from the Port Union waterfront to Agincourt and Malvern, crossed by Highway 401 and a grid of arterial roads. A limo service Scarborough residents can rely on has to know that grid, because the difference between a calm pickup and a missed flight is often which side of McCowan Road the car is waiting on.

TorontoBlackLimousine.net takes Scarborough bookings through its Toronto dispatch. You choose the vehicle class, enter the exact pickup address and destination, and the booker shows an all-in fare for that trip before you confirm. We do not publish rate cards on this page because the honest number depends on your address, the time of day and the vehicle.

This page covers the real distances and drive times, the places Scarborough bookings actually go, and the cases where public transit is the better choice.

Scarborough to Pearson airport: the 401 westbound problem

The most common Scarborough booking is the airport run. Pearson sits on the far side of the city from Scarborough, and every route there leans on Highway 401 for most of its length.

View of Scarborough Bluffs meeting Lake Ontario under a cloudy sky

From Scarborough Town Centre to Pearson is about 39 km. With empty roads the drive is around 37 minutes, and that is the figure a map shows at 4 a.m. On a weekday morning heading west, plan for 50 to 70 minutes, because the 401 through North York slows long before you reach Highway 400. For the Toronto Zoo area, in the far northeast of the city, the trip is nearer 50 km and 45 to 80 minutes. From the Bluffs side of Scarborough, around Bluffer's Park, it is about 47 km and 50 to 80 minutes.

Our dispatch builds a buffer into every airport pickup. For an international departure we suggest being at the kerb about three hours before, and for a domestic flight around two and a half; those are planning figures, so check your airline's guidance. For terminal-by-terminal detail on the arrival end, see our Pearson airport limo page and the wider airport limo Toronto guide.

Arrivals work the other way around. Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup, so the chauffeur sees a delay or an early landing before you do. We include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones. If you want someone holding a name board inside arrivals, the meet-and-greet add-on is available at booking; read more on the airport meet and greet page.

Distances and drive times from Scarborough

The table below uses road distances and typical drive times for common Scarborough trips. Times are ranges because Toronto traffic is a range. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.

If you are leaving from the downtown side, the Billy Bishop pickup is covered on our Billy Bishop airport limo page, and downtown rail connections on the Union Station page.

Scarborough Town Centre, Progress Avenue and the corporate corridor

Scarborough Town Centre sits at 300 Borough Drive and describes itself as the largest shopping centre in the East GTA, with about 250 stores and eateries. For a chauffeur, its value is as a landmark. It is the fixed point everyone in the east end understands, it has direct access from Highway 401 along McCowan Road and Progress Avenue, and it is the natural hub for pickups that start in the surrounding apartment towers and office buildings.

Offices around Progress Avenue and the campuses nearby generate steady business travel: visiting executives, training groups and day-trip flyers. Repeat travel from a Scarborough office is simpler on a corporate booking, described on our corporate car service page, and the same drivers can be booked by the hour on the hourly chauffeur page when a visitor needs a full day of stops across the east end.

For office pickups, give the chauffeur the building name and the entrance you will be standing at; many complexes have more than one driveway.

Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park

The Toronto Zoo is at 2000 Meadowvale Road, just north of Highway 401 and, according to the Zoo itself, inside Rouge National Urban Park. Drivers leave the 401 at the Meadowvale Road exit (Exit 389), head north and follow the signs. A black car suits groups juggling strollers and grandparents. A Luxury SUV takes up to six passengers with five or six large bags; an Executive Sprinter takes 12 to 14 for a larger family or a school or camp outing.

Check the Toronto Zoo site before you go, because hours change by season and day of the week, and the Zoo lists its own transit and parking guidance there. Our drive times to the Zoo are 15 to 25 minutes from Scarborough Town Centre, about 35 to 60 minutes from Union Station and 45 to 80 minutes from Pearson.

Rouge National Urban Park is run by Parks Canada and is free and open every day of the year. Visitors should know that Parks Canada currently lists the Zoo Road Day Use Area and Rouge Beach and Marsh as closed, and the City of Pickering says a Parks Canada project is closing the Rouge Beach and Waterfront Trail from November 2025 to spring 2027. If a beach visit is the point of your day, confirm what is open before you set the pickup time.

Scarborough Bluffs, Bluffer's Park and Guild Park and Gardens

The Scarborough Bluffs are one of the few places in Toronto where the lake edge looks like a coastline. The escarpment rises to roughly 90 metres in places and is lined with a string of City of Toronto parks, each with a different view. Bluffer's Park is the one at the foot of the cliffs, with the beach, boat clubs and marina. Cathedral Bluffs Park and others sit on top. Heed the fencing near the edge, because the cliff face is unstable.

Parking at Bluffer's Park fills on summer weekends, so being dropped at the gate by a chauffeur beats circling for a space.

Guild Park and Gardens is a City of Toronto park of about 36 hectares in eastern Scarborough, next to the bluffs. It holds public art and salvaged architectural fragments from historic buildings, with forest trails and views over Lake Ontario, and its address is 201 Guildwood Parkway. The historic Guild Inn on the grounds operates as an event and banquet venue. It is a favourite for wedding photographs, and it is only about 10 km and 15 to 25 minutes from Scarborough Town Centre.

Wedding limo Scarborough: timelines that work

Scarborough weddings tend to combine several locations in a single day: a ceremony at a place of worship, photographs at the bluffs or Guild Park, and a reception at a banquet hall elsewhere in Scarborough, Markham or Pickering. A wedding limo Scarborough couple can count on is built from the timeline backwards.

  1. Decide the ceremony start, then work back to the time the first vehicle must be at the bride's home, including the photographer's getting-ready window.
  2. List every stop with its address, so the booker can price and time the full route. Each leg is a separate drive time.
  3. Allow extra minutes at the photo stops. Park paths are longer on foot than they look on a map.
  4. Confirm how many guests ride in each vehicle. A Stretch Limousine seats 8 to 10 and is booked by the hour; a Luxury SUV takes up to six.
  5. Share one point of contact for the day; our 24/7 dispatch reaches the chauffeur directly.

Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are booked by the hour, and availability and the exact vehicle are confirmed at booking. More wedding planning, including multi-vehicle arrangements and cultural customs we are used to supporting, is on the wedding limo page. For the car itself, see the stretch limo page.

Proms, graduations and campus runs

Scarborough has a large number of high schools plus Centennial College on Progress Avenue and the University of Toronto Scarborough on Military Trail. Both campuses are short drives from Scarborough Town Centre: about 4 km to Centennial and 8 km to UTSC.

Prom and graduation bookings are strictly alcohol-free on our vehicles. That is a safety policy, not a negotiating point, and it is the reason many parents choose a licensed chauffeur over a group of drivers in their own cars. Parents book, the addresses are fixed and the route stays on the plan. Read the prom and graduation limo page for the full approach.

For a university move-in, a convocation or a visiting parent, the sedan and SUV classes carry the luggage and the family.

Hospital appointments, early flights and quiet pickups

Scarborough Health Network runs three hospital sites: Scarborough General at 3050 Lawrence Avenue East, Birchmount at 3030 Birchmount Road and Centenary at 2867 Ellesmere Road. A pre-booked car works well for a day procedure or a discharge where the passenger needs a calm, unhurried pickup rather than a wait for an app to match a driver.

We do not provide medical transport or care, so tell us at booking if the passenger needs help with stairs or luggage. For families, child, toddler and booster seats are available when requested at booking; the rules are explained on the car seat limo page.

For a 4 a.m. airport run, give us the tower name, the door and a mobile number, and we will schedule the pickup with a margin for the 401.

Transit in Scarborough: what changed, and when a car is the better answer

Scarborough has been through a long transit rebuild. TTC Line 3 Scarborough, the old SRT, stopped running in July 2023 and will not restart, and bus replacement service has operated since. The TTC says the Scarborough Busway, about 4 km along the former Line 3 right-of-way from Kennedy Station to Ellesmere Station, is scheduled to open for service on 30 September 2026, after which buses use priority lanes on Ellesmere Road. The Scarborough Subway Extension to Sheppard and McCowan is being delivered by the Province of Ontario and Metrolinx, and the TTC page on the future of Line 3 gives no opening date.

Further east, the Metrolinx Durham-Scarborough BRT is a proposed 36 km line along Highway 2 with no opening date, so nobody should plan a trip around it.

The honest summary is that transit works well for a single traveller to a downtown office and poorly for a family with luggage heading to Pearson at dawn. If you are travelling light and have time, the train and bus combination is the lowest-cost option and we will say so. If you have bags, children, an early departure or a connection to protect, the car is the safer choice.

Beyond Scarborough: Pickering, Oshawa and the GTA

Because Scarborough borders Durham Region, many bookings cross the boundary. A reception at the Pickering Casino Resort is about 22 km from Scarborough Town Centre, and the Pickering and Ajax limo page covers that side of the 401. Events in Oshawa are about 39 km east, covered on Oshawa and Whitby limo. For work to the north, see Markham limo service. A broader view of the area is on our GTA limo service hub.

For birthdays and group evenings see night out limo and party bus Toronto; the flagship overview is limo service Toronto.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a limo from Scarborough to Pearson airport?

Scarborough Town Centre to Pearson is about 39 km and usually takes 40 to 70 minutes depending on the 401. We do not publish a rate card; the booker shows the exact fare for your address, time and vehicle before you confirm, and the fare is fixed once you book.

How early should I leave Scarborough for an international flight?

Plan to be at the kerb about three hours before an international departure and about two and a half before a domestic flight. The drive is 40 to 70 minutes, and the chauffeur arrives early to allow for traffic and your bags.

Can you pick up from Scarborough Town Centre or a condo tower?

Yes. Enter the exact address in the booker and add the building name or entrance in the notes. For towers with several doors, tell us where you will be standing so the chauffeur does not wait on the wrong side.

Is there a limo for the Toronto Zoo or Scarborough Bluffs?

Yes. The Zoo is about 12 km and 15 to 25 minutes from Scarborough Town Centre. Bluffer's Park is about 9 km and Guild Park about 10 km. Groups of up to six fit a Luxury SUV and 12 to 14 fit an Executive Sprinter.

Do you serve Scarborough weddings and proms?

Yes. Weddings can combine several stops with a fixed route. Stretch limousines are booked by the hour and the exact vehicle is confirmed at booking. Prom and graduation trips are strictly alcohol-free.

Will the driver track my flight if I land late at Pearson?

Yes. Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup. We include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic arrivals.

Can I book a child seat for the trip from Scarborough?

Yes. Child, toddler and booster seats are available when requested at booking. Add the age and weight of each child so the right seat is installed.

Is the Scarborough Subway Extension open yet?

No opening date appears on the TTC's page, and the project is being delivered by the Province and Metrolinx. The TTC says interim bus service continues until the extension opens.
