What is the best way to get a limo at the Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport?

Book a black car with TorontoBlackLimousine.net through the online booker. The Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport is at 33 Carlson Court in Etobicoke, about 5 km from Pearson, usually 7 minutes in free-flow traffic. You get a fixed fare for your exact address and vehicle before you pay.

The Crowne Plaza on Carlson Court is a full-service hotel in the airport district, and it has been refreshed more recently than its address might suggest. A press release carried by Hotel Online in January 2021 described a renovation of roughly twenty million dollars that took in the exterior, the lobby, the rooms, an executive floor, the gym and the pool, and it named the owner-operator as Manga Hotels under the IHG brand. That history is useful context for how guests use it today: corporate groups, conference delegates and travellers on tight connections who want a real hotel next to the runways.

A limousine or black car fits the stay in two ways. The first is the simple transfer: the airport is a short drive from the lobby, so the question is not distance, it is certainty. The second is the working day, where a chauffeur and vehicle are on the clock while the passenger is in meetings. This page is built around both.

Where Carlson Court sits in the airport district

The hotel's address is 33 Carlson Court, Etobicoke, Toronto, M9W 6H5. The same 2021 release places it near Toronto Pearson, close to Highways 401 and 427, and that is the practical fact for any chauffeur. Both highways are close, which gives the dispatcher a choice of routes. When the 401 is slow, the 427 is often still moving, and the reverse can be true.

The neighbourhood is a hotel and business district rather than a residential one, which keeps the pickup simple. There are no school-run or market-day complications at the kerb. What can complicate things is a large event at a nearby venue, and the Toronto Congress Centre on Dixon Road is the one to watch. Check our page on the Delta Hotels Toronto Airport & Conference Centre for how a show day changes the roads in the same part of Etobicoke.

The exact door where your car stops is confirmed by the chauffeur on the day. At a hotel with a conference wing and a main lobby, the right door depends on whether you are loading luggage or collecting a group.

Crowne Plaza to Pearson: the numbers

Our dispatch figures from the Crowne Plaza to the airport are about 5 km and roughly 7 minutes in free-flow traffic. Add margin for the weekday peaks; 12 to 20 minutes is a sensible allowance. For a flight, the clock that matters is the airline's check-in cut-off, not the drive.

Billy Bishop (YTZ), mainland pickup at Eireann Quayabout 24 kmabout 23 min
Hamilton (YHM)about 79 kmabout 71 min

Terminal-by-terminal pickup details are on our Pearson airport limo page. On arrivals we track the flight, give you 60 minutes free after an international landing and 30 minutes after a domestic one, and can arrange a driver with a name board inside the arrivals hall through airport meet and greet. For all the airports you can use from this side of the city, airport limo Toronto is the comparison page.

A chauffeur on the clock: how corporate days run from here

The strongest reason to book a car for a stay at the Crowne Plaza is that the hotel is a good base for work that is spread across the west end and the 905. Look at the map: Mississauga's business parks, Brampton's industrial belt, Vaughan, downtown Toronto and the airport itself are all within one to one-and-a-half hours.

Chauffeur in a dark suit waiting at a doorway

A typical hourly day for a visitor looks like this.

  1. Hotel to first meeting. The chauffeur is at the door at the agreed time, with bags loaded.
  2. Site visits. Two or three stops in Mississauga or Brampton, with the car waiting at each.
  3. Downtown. A late-afternoon meeting on Bay Street or King, with the chauffeur handling parking so you are not circling.
  4. Dinner. A restaurant in the Entertainment District or Yorkville.
  5. Back to the hotel. A calm ride, with the next morning's pickup time already set.

The hourly chauffeur page explains how hours are counted, and the corporate car service page covers account setups for companies that send visitors to Toronto regularly. If the whole team is moving together, our chauffeur service in Toronto guide shows how larger itineraries are planned.

Meetings, ballrooms and group movements

The 2021 release described a 4,500 sq. ft. Algonquin Ballroom within a total of about 12,000 sq. ft. of function space, with upgraded audio-visual equipment, and called the hotel a 12-storey building. Those are the numbers the owner gave at that time; check with the hotel for what is current, especially if you are planning a meeting of your own. The reason they matter here is simply scale: a hotel of this size routinely hosts sales kick-offs, training weeks, association meetings and regional conferences, and each one generates a burst of transport needs.

For group events, the useful questions are:

  • Who arrives when? Collect arrival times and group them. Flights that land within the same 45 minutes can share a vehicle; flights two hours apart should not.
  • Where do guests go in the evening? Dinner out of the hotel is the single largest demand for cars.
  • Who needs to leave early? Executives with morning flights often need an early car, which is easier to organize the day before than on the morning of departure.

Our event transportation page covers shuttle loops, staging and dispatch for conferences. For vehicles, the fleet page has the details, and the main choices are:

  • Executive Sedan for up to 3 passengers with 2 large and 2 carry-on bags
  • Luxury SUV for up to 6 with 5 to 6 large bags
  • Executive Sprinter for 12 to 14 with 12 or more bags
  • Stretch limousines and mini-coaches by the hour, with availability and the exact vehicle confirmed at booking

Downtown, Union Station and the financial district

From Pearson to Union Station the road distance is about 27 km, usually 30 to 50 minutes. From Carlson Court the figure is similar, and the exact fare for your address appears in the booker before you commit. On a weekday morning the Gardiner and the 427 southbound decide the time more than the distance does.

If your destination is Union itself, for a train or the GO network, see our Union Station car service page. If you are heading to a hotel in the core, the Toronto hotels hub lists the major downtown properties we serve, and the limo service Toronto page is the overview of how city bookings work.

Four ways to reach downtown from a hotel by the airport

MethodWhat it involvesCost noteBetter when

UP ExpressReach the Pearson station, then about 28 minutes to Unionlowest of the paid optionsYou are alone, light, and not in a hurry
TTC 900 Airport Express to Kipling, then Line 2Bus from Terminal 1 or 3 to Kipling, then subwaylowestYour time is flexible
Taxi or rideshareHail at the rank or app from the hotelmeter plus surge when busyShort notice, no booking made

The UP Express site advertises Pearson to downtown in 28 minutes and lists the adult one-way fare at $12.35, as of 2026. The TTC says the 900 Airport Express takes about 20 to 25 minutes between Kipling Station and Pearson, and its adult fare is $3.30 with PRESTO or a tap card, as of 2026. Be honest with yourself about the connection: a transit trip from a hotel on Carlson Court starts with getting to a terminal or station, which adds a leg. If you are comfortable doing that with one bag, transit is the lowest-cost route; if you are not, a car is easier. Our limo vs rideshare page covers the other comparison.

A three-day visit planned around Carlson Court

A worked example helps. Imagine a regional sales director flying in on a Tuesday evening for three days of customer calls.

Glass-walled airport terminal walkway at dusk
Glass-walled airport terminal walkway at dusk
  • Tuesday night. The flight lands at Terminal 1. The chauffeur is tracking it, meets the passenger at the agreed point, and the ride to Carlson Court is short enough that dinner is still possible at the hotel.
  • Wednesday. An hourly booking from 8:30 a.m. covers a morning in Mississauga and an afternoon on Bay Street, finishing with a client dinner. Because the car stays with the passenger, there is no scramble for parking in the financial district.
  • Thursday. A one-way run to Kitchener-Waterloo and back, planned as a single booking with the return time set in advance, so the director can sleep in the hotel again or head straight to the airport.
  • Friday. An early pickup for the flight home. The booking was made on Tuesday, so nobody is hunting for a car at 5:00 a.m.

The point is not the individual rides. It is that one dispatcher sees the whole itinerary, and the same chauffeur team can be assigned where continuity helps. If the plan changes mid-week, say a customer cancels Thursday, adjust the booking within the cancellation terms. Those are: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time.

Day trips: Waterloo, Niagara and the border

A hotel near Pearson is a convenient departure point for runs that go out of the city and return the same day. Three come up repeatedly.

  • Waterloo Region. Tech visitors and university guests head to Kitchener-Waterloo. The Pearson to Kitchener-Waterloo page gives the distance and timing, and the Kitchener-Waterloo limo page covers the local side.
  • Niagara. Our Toronto to Niagara Falls page shows the QEW route and the usual return plan.
  • Buffalo. Some travellers fly out of Buffalo for the fares. That is a cross-border trip with documents to carry, covered on the Buffalo airport page. Border wait time is part of the trip, and each passenger needs valid travel documents.

Family and holiday travel from the Crowne Plaza

The hotel also serves travellers who stay overnight before a family trip. Two seasonal pressures are worth knowing. March Break is the first big family-departure week of the year; read our March Break Pearson departures guide. December is the other; the Christmas airport runs post covers it.

Child, toddler and booster seats are available when requested at booking, so add the age and weight of each child when you reserve, and see the car seat service page for how it works.

What to do on a very late arrival or very early departure

A late landing is usually not a problem if the driver is tracking. Your pickup moves with the plane. For a 1:00 a.m. arrival, the wait starts after landing, not at the scheduled time, and the free waiting window applies from there.

For a 5:00 a.m. departure, the right booking is a pickup that leaves the hotel with plenty of margin, set the night before, with your flight number on the booking. Our dispatch is staffed 24/7 so an early run does not depend on anyone's alarm clock but yours.

How to book

  1. Open the booker and enter the hotel address and your destination.
  2. Pick the date, time and vehicle class.
  3. Read the all-in fare for your exact addresses before you pay.
  4. Add the flight number for an airport pickup, and any notes for the chauffeur.
  5. Keep the confirmation. The FAQ covers luggage, waiting time and other common questions.

Where is the Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport?

It is at 33 Carlson Court, Etobicoke, Toronto, M9W 6H5, near Highways 401 and 427 in the airport district. The chauffeur confirms the precise pickup door on the day of travel.

Can I book a limo from the Crowne Plaza to downtown Toronto?

Yes. Pearson to Union Station is about 27 km, usually 30 to 50 minutes, and the Crowne Plaza is close to that figure. Enter your downtown address and the booker returns the fixed fare.

Do you offer hourly service for meetings?

Yes. An hourly chauffeur stays with you across a series of stops, whether they are in Mississauga, Brampton or on Bay Street. List the stops at booking and the chauffeur is briefed before the day starts.

What happens if my flight arrives late?

We track every airport pickup, so a late landing moves your pickup time. Waiting time is free for 60 minutes after an international landing and 30 minutes after a domestic one.

Is a limo better than the hotel shuttle or UP Express?

It depends. If you are alone, travelling light and flexible, transit is the lowest-cost route. If you have a group, heavy bags, a fixed meeting time or want to arrive without transfers, a car is easier.

Can you pick up a group from the Crowne Plaza?

Yes. A Luxury SUV takes up to 6, and an Executive Sprinter takes 12 to 14. For larger groups, we can send several vehicles. Stretch limousines and mini-coaches are booked by the hour with availability confirmed at booking.

Can I get a car seat?

Yes. Child, toddler and booster seats are available when you request them at booking.
