Information you give us

A reservation only works if we know who is travelling and where. When you book, request a quote or message us, we record the passenger names, an email address and a mobile number, the pickup and drop-off points, flight, train or cruise details, and any notes you type, for example a child seat or a second stop. Card payments go directly to the payment processor used by the booking platform. Full card numbers never reach our own systems.

Why we use it

The details are used to dispatch the right vehicle, to send you the chauffeur's name and car, to follow your flight or train, and to manage invoices, amendments and refunds. Corporate account holders may also receive a monthly statement of trips charged to the account. TorontoBlackLimousine.net does not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Who sees it

Only the people who need it to run your trip: the dispatcher and the chauffeur assigned to it, and the booking platform that hosts the reservation for us. For a trip handled by a partner fleet outside our area, that operator receives the same trip details. Information may also be released when a law or a court order requires it.

Chat, WhatsApp and the contact form

If you write to us through the live chat on this site, by WhatsApp or through the contact form, we keep the conversation so that the reservation history is complete. The chat window is provided by Tawk.to and WhatsApp by Meta, and both process messages under their own privacy policies.

Text messages (SMS)

If you tick the SMS consent box on our quote form, we text you about your booking only, never marketing. Msg & data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, and the analytics cookies can be blocked in your browser without affecting a booking. The booking tool and the live chat may set the cookies they need to function.

How long we keep it, and your rights

Trip records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to see the personal information we hold about you and to have errors corrected.
