Which limo service suits the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites on Airport Road?
TorontoBlackLimousine.net, booked direct, suits any trip from the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites that is longer or more complicated than a shuttle ride: groups, tracked flights, Bay Street meetings, hourly days. The hotel is about 3 km from Pearson, and the booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
The hotel at 5875 Airport Road, Mississauga is large. Hilton's own announcement of its renovation, published in January 2020, described 419 rooms, 21 redesigned meeting rooms totalling 33,000 square feet and a 10,000 square foot ballroom. Whenever a hotel holds that many people at once, transport stops being a question about one car and becomes a question about sequencing.
That is the angle of this page. It covers solo transfers too, but it spends more time on the things that are specific to a large conference hotel on Airport Road: how groups arrive and leave, how a trade-show week works, and how hourly chauffeurs fit into an executive agenda. TorontoBlackLimousine.net is independent of the hotel and of Hilton, with no partnership between us.
The hotel in plain facts
Here is what is publicly documented, with dates, so you can judge how current it is.

- Address and position. 5875 Airport Road, Mississauga, Ontario, directly across from Toronto Pearson International Airport, per Hilton's January 2020 release.
- Scale. The same release gives 419 rooms, a restaurant called Mosaic Kitchen, Bar and Lounge that opened with the renovation, a 10,000 square foot ballroom and 21 meeting rooms.
- Leisure facilities. Hilton listed a pool with a retractable roof, squash and basketball courts and a renovated fitness centre.
- Airport shuttle. The release says a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle is available.
- Still operating. Pearson's current hotel shuttle page lists "Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites" among the hotels with shuttle service.
Room counts and function-room capacities can change, so treat the 2020 figures as a guide and confirm with the hotel. You can read the original Hilton renovation announcement and Pearson's hotel shuttle page.
The Airport Road corridor
Airport Road is one of the long north-south routes of Peel Region. At this end it serves the terminals, the cargo operators and a dense cluster of offices and hotels. Farther north it leads to Brampton and beyond. That makes the Hilton a convenient base for people whose work lies in Mississauga or Brampton as much as in downtown Toronto.
Three things follow for a chauffeur:
- The airport leg is short but not fixed. Three kilometres is a five-minute drive in free-flow traffic. On a weekday afternoon, with every hotel shuttle and rental-car bus using the same roads, plan on ten to twenty.
- The 427, 409 and 401 are all close. Direction determines the route, not distance.
- Mississauga and Brampton destinations are short hops with plenty of options. Our city pages for Mississauga and Brampton describe the corporate parks, banquet halls and venues on that side of the airport.
Shuttle or black car: how guests actually get from the terminal to the hotel
Pearson tells hotel guests where to find their shuttle. According to the airport, hotel shuttle pickup is on the Arrivals Level at Door E in Terminal 1 and at Doors B and G in Terminal 3, and a courtesy phone on the Arrivals Level connects you to the hotels. The airport directs travellers to each hotel for shuttle times.

The hotel shuttle is a good option for a solo guest with simple luggage. The black car earns its place when:
- you are travelling with colleagues who need to arrive together;
- the flight is delayed and you want a driver who tracked it;
- you need to go to an address other than the hotel;
- you are a senior guest whose schedule cannot absorb a shuttle loop.
Pearson publishes pre-arranged taxi and limousine pickup at Door A in both terminals. We track your flight, include 60 minutes of waiting after an international landing and 30 minutes after a domestic one, and offer a name-board meet-and-greet in arrivals as an add-on. Your chauffeur gives you the exact door on the day. More on both terminals is in our Pearson airport limo guide, and the airport's own pre-arranged services page shows the current doors.
Conferences, ballroom events and moving a crowd
When 200 people check out on the same morning, shuttles run out of seats. The trick, which our dispatchers plan around, is staggering. A few principles help any meeting planner:
- Split by flight, not by name. Group delegates by departure airport and time. A coach or Sprinter then leaves for Pearson at the right interval, and a separate car takes the three who are flying out of Billy Bishop.
- Give the booker a single contact. Changes should flow through one person.
- Reserve VIP and speaker cars early. Keynotes and sponsors cannot wait for the next run.
- Ask for a spread of vehicles. A mix of SUVs, Sprinters and a mini-coach is more flexible than one large vehicle.
Vehicle classes: Executive Sedan (up to 3 passengers), Luxury SUV (up to 6 and 5 to 6 large bags), Executive Sprinter (12 to 14 and more than 12 bags), Stretch Limousine (8 to 10, hourly) and Mini-coach or party bus (20 to 30, hourly). Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are subject to availability and the exact vehicle is confirmed at booking. See event transportation and the fleet page.
Trade shows at the International Centre
The International Centre is at 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, and describes itself as having more than 500,000 square feet of flexible exhibition space, a separate 48,000 square foot conference centre, complimentary parking and more than 500 events a year. Its own site says Pearson is a few minutes away. For an exhibitor staying at the Hilton, a show week brings its own transport questions: crates arrive early, set-up days run long and the evening exit competes with the visitors' parking lot.
We covered these questions in our guide to International Centre events, which compares a hotel shuttle with a private car for exhibitors. The short answer is that a shuttle is fine for people and a private vehicle is better for display cases, banners and late departures. Check the venue's own event calendar for the dates that affect your week.
Distances and drive times from the Hilton
Road distance and free-flow drive time, with the typical rush-hour range. The Billy Bishop row runs to the mainland pickup at Eireann Quay.
| From the Hilton Toronto Airport to | Distance (about) | Free-flow | Rush-hour range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | 3 km | 5 min | 10 to 20 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), Eireann Quay | 24 km | 23 min | 35 to 60 min |
| Hamilton (YHM) | 79 km | 71 min | 90 to 125 min |
| Union Station and Bay Street | 26 km | 27 min | 40 to 60 min |
Those ranges are guides rather than guarantees. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm, and there is no meter.
The alternatives, honestly compared

| Option | Typical time to downtown | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel shuttle plus UP Express | Shuttle plus 28 min on the train | Low, UP fare set by Metrolinx | Light luggage, central meeting |
| TTC Route 900 Airport Express to Kipling, then subway | Longer than rail | Low, transit fare | Flexible schedules |
| Taxi stand at Pearson | 30 to 50 min | Airport rules apply | Unplanned arrivals |
| Rideshare | 30 to 50 min | App price that can surge | Casual single trips |
| Pre-booked black car | 25 to 50 min | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, tight schedules, luggage |
Hilton's release described the train to downtown as about 25 minutes; the operator's own site advertises 28 minutes from Pearson Station to Union Station. Either way, if you are alone, travelling light and heading to Union, the UP Express is hard to beat. Its fares page showed a standard adult single of $12.35 as of October 2026, with children aged 12 and under free.
Leaving at dawn: the departure side of Airport Road
The trip to the terminal is short, which makes the buffer the real decision. Pearson's rules shape how a drop-off works: according to the airport, you may stop briefly at the departures or arrivals curb to load and unload, but waiting is not allowed there or on the roads leading to the terminals. A chauffeur therefore times the arrival at the kerb, helps with bags and moves on.
If a colleague drives you instead, Pearson's cell phone waiting area is free for up to 45 minutes for pickups, and the driver comes to the arrivals curb only after the passenger calls; the airport explains this on its pick-up and drop-off page. That is a fair option for a local pickup, and the TTC's 900 Airport Express, described on the TTC airport page, is the transit fallback. A booked car is the choice when you do not want to depend on anyone else's schedule at 5 a.m.
Hourly chauffeurs for executives staying on Airport Road
The airport hotel is an efficient base for business that spreads across the region. Two patterns come up often:

- The 905 loop. A morning in Mississauga, midday in Vaughan or Markham, an afternoon in Brampton, then back to the hotel or onwards to a flight. Our chauffeur service guide and hourly chauffeur page explain how a day is arranged and tracked in the booker.
- The downtown run. A first meeting on Bay Street by 9:00, lunch with a client, a late-afternoon session and a return, with the same driver throughout. The corporate car service page covers account billing, multiple passengers and repeat bookings.
Hourly use means the car waits with you. The chauffeur keeps the route open to the next address and handles the curb at buildings with no public parking.
An evening out from Airport Road
Visiting teams often finish the day with dinner. Port Credit's waterfront is a popular choice in Mississauga, and our Port Credit waterfront guide describes the lighthouse, marina and restaurants. For a downtown dinner, a show or a game, the night-out limo page explains how pickups work after events, and our Scotiabank Arena guide covers hockey and basketball nights. Alcohol rules follow Ontario law and are confirmed at booking; we never promise drinks on board.
Day trips and long runs from the hotel
Three common intercity trips from a Pearson-area hotel:
- Waterloo Region. About 95 km from Pearson by the 401, one hour to an hour and a quarter; see Pearson to Kitchener-Waterloo.
- Niagara Falls. The QEW run is about 130 km and takes 80 to 100 minutes; the route page is Toronto to Niagara Falls.
- Montréal. About 541 km by the 401 and the 20, 5.5 to 6.5 hours; see Toronto to Montréal.
Intercity trips are quoted in the booker like any other. Cross-border trips need valid travel documents, and border wait time is part of the journey.
Families, school breaks and long layovers
A large hotel is also where families stay between flights. Seats matter on the road: child, toddler and booster seats are available when requested at booking, and the earlier you tell the booker how many children and what ages, the smoother the pickup. During the busiest travel weeks, Thanksgiving weekend travel and March Break departures explain what changes at Pearson and Union Station, and the car seat page lists the options.
Booking and cancellation
Enter the hotel as the pickup, add the flight number for arrivals, and the booker returns a fixed fare quoted before you pay. Our Toronto dispatch runs around the clock, and our vehicles and chauffeurs are licensed and commercially insured.
The cancellation scale, measured from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%.
