Can I get a limo from Pearson or Billy Bishop to Delta Hotels Toronto?
Yes. Enter 75 Lower Simcoe Street as the drop-off in the TorontoBlackLimousine.net booker, add your flight number and choose a vehicle. Pearson is about 28 km and Billy Bishop about 2 km from the hotel. The booker shows one fixed fare for your address before you pay, and flights are tracked.
The South Core is the part of downtown where everything is close and nothing is easy. The hotel sits at Lower Simcoe Street and Bremner Boulevard, a few minutes' walk from Union Station, the CN Tower, Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena, and next to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. A limo service Delta Hotels Toronto guests will use is therefore less about the last 700 metres than about the other 28 kilometres, and about the event days that close the streets in between.
We are not part of the hotel and it does not recommend us. We publish the distances, the drive times and what we know about the area, so you can plan the cars before you land.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto: the hotel and its name
The property trades as Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto, at 75 Lower Simcoe Street, Toronto, M5J 3A6. It opened on 27 November 2014 as Delta's flagship in the city, in the South Core, and is described as connected to the underground PATH network; sources put the room count at roughly 570, with the sources disagreeing slightly on the exact figure. One venue listing shows about 16 meeting spaces and a waterfront walking path nearby, and describes the setting in the South Core as close to the convention centre, Union Station and the attractions along Bremner Boulevard (Hospitality Online listing).

Why mention the name? People still search for "Delta Toronto" or "Delta Hotels Toronto" and occasionally confuse it with the Chelsea Hotel on Gerrard Street, which was formerly a Delta property. The Chelsea has its own page: Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. The hotel on Lower Simcoe is the one on this page.
Lower Simcoe and Bremner: where the car stops
We do not invent a pickup lane the hotel has not published; the chauffeur confirms the exact door on the day.
Some of the South Core's rules are published, though. The CN Tower's own getting-here page says taxi, limo and rideshare drivers can use 290 Bremner Boulevard for drop-offs, a short walk west of the hotel, and says there is a Wheel-Trans designated stop at Gate 7 of Rogers Centre (CN Tower). That is a useful fallback when Lower Simcoe is blocked. It also says the SkyWalk connects to Union Station.
On normal days, a car can pick up at the hotel without trouble. On event days, expect the chauffeur to ask for a message when you are in the lobby, because the stop may be a block away.
Airport transfers: the figures

| Airport | Distance to 75 Lower Simcoe | Free-flow drive | Typical weekday peak |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 28 km | about 25 min | 40–75 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), mainland pickup at Eireann Quay | about 2 km | about 5 min | 12–20 min |
| Hamilton (YHM) | about 84 km | about 75 min | 95–135 min |
Pearson to the South Core
The run is about 28 km. With a clear road, it takes about 25 minutes, and the approach is along the Gardiner Expressway, which also carries most of the peak-hour delay. In a weekday afternoon peak, plan on 40 to 75 minutes. A summer Friday with a ball game adds to that.
International arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, and domestic arrivals include 30. Flights are tracked on every pickup, so a late arrival does not mean a missed car. A name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals is available as an add-on; see meet-and-greet and the Pearson airport limo page for the terminal procedure. For a private jet passenger, see Pearson private aviation.
Billy Bishop: two kilometres and a tunnel
Billy Bishop is the neighbouring airport, about 2 km from the hotel and about 5 minutes free-flow. Its address is 2 Eireann Quay at the foot of Bathurst Street. The airport says its pedestrian tunnel is 853 feet long, with four moving walkways, and that the walk from the curb to check-in takes six minutes or less (tunnel). For private vehicles it publishes a brief stop at the curb outside the mainland pavilion and ferry terminal, with a five-minute limit in the turning circle (pick-up and drop-off).

For a trip this short, a car is mostly about luggage and rain. If you have only a roller bag and good weather, the walk along the waterfront can be pleasant. If you have more than one large bag, a group, or a meeting right after landing, a chauffeur is quicker and calmer. The Billy Bishop airport limo page has the full airport guide. If you plan to take a vehicle to the island side, you would pay the ferry fee, which the airport publishes separately.
Hamilton International
Hamilton (YHM) is about 84 km from the hotel and about 75 minutes in free-flow traffic. It is worth considering when the flight is cheaper or the connection better. See Hamilton airport limo for how pickups work there, and the Hamilton limo page for the city.
Event days in the South Core
The best reason to book a car in advance is that the South Core fills up. Scotiabank Arena is at 40 Bay Street, and its own page says Union Station links it with the TTC and GO Transit (Scotiabank Arena). The stadium is next door to the CN Tower. A game, a concert and a convention can overlap on one night.

How we handle it:
- Before the event. We plan the arrival so that you are dropped before the closure line, not inside it. The walk is usually shorter than waiting in the traffic.
- After the event. Book the return for 20 to 30 minutes after the final whistle. The car waits at a quieter street, and the chauffeur messages you the stop.
- During a convention. If you are an exhibitor, a driver can stage at the loading side of the convention centre while you set up.
The posts on Scotiabank Arena pickups and Rogers Centre game days describe what changes by event. For a whole evening, the concert and sports limo page is the planning page.
Convention season next door
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre, which has North and South Buildings, lists trade and public events throughout the year and describes itself as offering indoor access to public transit and an air-rail link to Pearson (MTCC). For delegates staying at the Delta, the walk is short, and the car is for the airport, the dinners and the off-sites.
Typical patterns:
- Arrival day. Delegates fly in at different times, and the organiser books one Executive Sprinter for the shared flight and sedans for the speakers.
- Dinner night. A group of 30 to 60 goes to a venue in the city. Mini-coaches (20 to 30 passengers) run by the hour, with the exact vehicle confirmed at booking.
- Departure day. Stagger the airport runs by flight, not by the end of the event.
See the MTCC arrivals post for exhibitor drop-offs, and the event transportation page for how we plan shuttles.
An hourly car from the South Core
Hourly service suits a day of meetings. Hourly chauffeur covers how waiting time works. Approximate distances from the hotel:
| Destination from Lower Simcoe | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Union Station | about 1 km | 5–10 min |
| Bay Street financial core | about 1.5 km | 6–12 min |
| Exhibition Place (BMO Field, Enercare Centre) | about 4 km | 8–15 min |
| Yorkville | about 4.5 km | 12–20 min |
These are approximate road distances and off-peak times. For a corporate account with invoicing, the corporate car service page applies. For the suburban side of a roadshow, see Mississauga limo and Markham limo.
Exhibition Place and the Lakeshore
BMO Field and the exhibition grounds are west of the hotel along the lakeshore. Match days and trade shows each have their own closures, and the roads fill early. Our posts on BMO Field match days and Enercare Centre shows set out the patterns. A chauffeur who has done the run knows which entrance is open and where to stage.
A Harbourfront afternoon
The hotel's position near the water makes it a base for a leisure afternoon: the CN Tower, the aquarium and the Toronto Islands ferry. The CN Tower and Harbourfront afternoon post covers the order that works; the Toronto Islands ferry day post does the same for the islands. The city tours page suggests itineraries by the hour.
Early flights, late arrivals and the overnight stay
Hotels in the South Core see a lot of traffic at the edges of the day: the 5 a.m. departure for a morning meeting in another city, and the 11 p.m. arrival after a delayed connection. Those are the trips where a fixed, pre-booked car matters most, because a rank or an app has the thinnest supply exactly when you need it.
For an early departure, book the pickup for the time the car should be at the door, not the time you want to be at the airport. Work backwards from check-in and bag drop, then add the drive time in the table above. At 4 or 5 a.m. the road is clear and Pearson is close to 25 minutes away; the same run at 8 a.m. can take twice as long. For a late arrival, we track the flight, so the car is at the arrivals level when you land, with 60 minutes of free waiting after an international landing or 30 after a domestic one.
Roadshows and day trips from the harbour
A South Core hotel is a good base for a regional roadshow. Waterloo Region is about 95 km from Pearson and 1 to 1.25 hours; see Pearson to Kitchener-Waterloo. Niagara Falls is about 130 km and 80 to 100 minutes; see Toronto to Niagara Falls. Ottawa is about 450 km and 4.5 to 5 hours each way; see Toronto to Ottawa. The travel desk can join several legs into one itinerary, for example a Pearson arrival, a Waterloo meeting and a return to Lower Simcoe the same night.
Pearson to Lower Simcoe: the alternatives, plainly
| Option | Time to Lower Simcoe | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union, then a walk or short ride | About 28 min on the train plus 10–20 min | Lowest | One traveller, one small bag |
| TTC bus and subway | Longest of the options | Lowest | Budget travellers with hours to spare |
| Taxi rank | 25–75 min | Meter plus surcharges | A one-off ride |
| Rideshare | 25–75 min | Meter-style plus surge | Spontaneous trips |
| Private chauffeur | 25–75 min | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, bags, a client, a deadline |
The UP Express site lists a standard one-way fare of $12.35 between Union and Pearson as of 2026 (UP Express). From Union Station, the hotel is a walk of around 10 minutes, so for a single traveller with one bag the train is often the better choice. For groups, heavy bags and late arrivals, a car is simpler. The full argument is on the limo versus rideshare page.
Choosing the vehicle
South Core trips tend to use four of the five classes:
- The Executive Sedan takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large and 2 carry-on bags; it suits a Billy Bishop run.
- The Luxury SUV takes up to 6 passengers and 5 to 6 large bags; it suits a family or a hockey bag.
- The Executive Sprinter takes 12 to 14 passengers and 12 or more bags; it suits a convention wave.
- The Stretch Limousine (8 to 10 passengers) and the mini-coach or party bus (20 to 30 passengers) are booked by the hour for a game night or a gala.
Availability and the exact vehicle for stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are confirmed at booking. See the fleet page. Car seats for small children are available when requested at booking. Alcohol on board follows Ontario law and is confirmed when you book; we never promise it.
Other hotels by the water and the rest of the city
Near the Delta are The Westin Harbour Castle and Fairmont Royal York. The hotels hub lists the rest. For the city overall, see limo service Toronto, and for Union Station pickups, the Union Station car service.

Frequently asked questions
How far is Delta Hotels Toronto from Pearson airport?
About 28 km by road, about 25 minutes in free-flow traffic and 40 to 75 minutes at a weekday peak. The booker shows the exact fare for 75 Lower Simcoe Street before you confirm.
How far is Delta Hotels Toronto from Billy Bishop airport?
About 2 km and about 5 minutes with a clear road, 10 to 20 minutes at a peak or on an event night. The pickup is at the mainland pavilion at Eireann Quay.
Is the Delta Toronto the same as the Chelsea Hotel?
No. The Chelsea Hotel is on Gerrard Street and has its own page. Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto is at 75 Lower Simcoe Street in the South Core and opened in November 2014.
Where will the chauffeur pick me up?
No private-car lane is published, so the chauffeur decides the exact door on the day. On event days that may be a block away, and you get a message.
Can I walk to Union Station from the hotel?
Yes; a venue listing puts the walk at about 10 minutes, and the hotel is described as connected to the PATH. A car is helpful with luggage, in bad weather or when you are in a hurry.
Do you run convention shuttles?
Yes. We plan Executive Sprinters for flight waves and hourly mini-coaches for dinners. The coach itself is confirmed at booking.
Can I book a car for a Blue Jays or Leafs night?
Yes. Plan the arrival before the closures and the return 20 to 30 minutes after the event. The chauffeur picks a quieter street and messages you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Measured from the scheduled pickup, the terms are: no charge beyond 72 hours' notice; 10% at 72 hours or less; 50% at 48 hours or less; 100% at 24 hours or less or on a no-show.
Do you offer child seats?
Yes. Ask for the seat you need when you book, whether infant, toddler or booster.
