How do I book a limo service to or from The St. Regis Toronto?
Open the booker, enter the St. Regis address, 325 Bay Street, as your pickup or drop-off, choose Pearson, Billy Bishop, Union Station or an hourly block, and pick a vehicle. The booker shows the exact fare before you confirm, and your chauffeur confirms the door on the day.
A limo service for The St. Regis Toronto is mostly a matter of timing: a flight that lands early, a meeting at Bay and Wellington that runs long, a ballroom event that releases hundreds of people at once. Our Toronto dispatch is staffed around the clock, so the car is where it should be before you reach the lobby.
TorontoBlackLimousine.net is an independent chauffeur service. We have no arrangement with the hotel and the hotel has not recommended us. You get a licensed, commercially insured vehicle and a driver who knows the financial district well enough to stage the car on the right block.
The St. Regis Toronto at a glance
The St. Regis Toronto stands at 325 Bay Street, at Bay and Adelaide, between the financial district and the Entertainment District. It opened under the St. Regis name in late 2018 as the brand's first hotel in Canada, in a tower that had previously operated as the Adelaide Hotel Toronto. At its debut the hotel described 258 guest rooms, 124 of them suites, a round-the-clock butler service, and about 12,000 square feet of event space. Those were launch figures; confirm current numbers with the hotel.

Several details shape how a car works around the building:
- The ballrooms. The St. Regis Ballroom on the 10th floor and the Astor Ballroom on the 9th floor officially reopened on 1 April 2025 after a redesign. Weddings, galas and corporate dinners there tend to end together, which is when a staged fleet matters.
- LOUIX LOUIS. The bar and restaurant sits on the 31st floor and draws non-guests, so evening pickups are not limited to people carrying room keys.
- Meeting rooms on the 30th floor. Smaller sessions with downtown views, usually booked by firms that also have Bay Street offices a few minutes away.
We publish nothing about the hotel's porte-cochère or loading arrangements that the hotel itself has not published. The chauffeur confirms the exact door on the day, usually by text or call once you are ready.
Where the car meets you at 325 Bay Street
Downtown Toronto curbs are for active loading only, and Bay Street at office closing time is one of the busiest in the country. A good chauffeur does not sit in front of the hotel with the engine running. Instead the car stages nearby, the driver watches your ready time, and then pulls up to the door the hotel's staff indicate. That small piece of choreography is the difference between a 30-second handover and a ticket.
For arrivals, the driver meets you where you actually come out of the building: the main entrance if you are leaving the lobby, or a side street if a conference has taken over the front. If you are travelling with luggage and a bellman, say so in the booking notes and the driver will wait closer.
Guests of a ballroom event or a dinner at LOUIX LOUIS follow the same rules: put your ready time in the notes and be in the lobby five minutes earlier. Between about 4 and 6 pm Bay Street is a commuter artery, so a car that arrives early only waits in traffic. If the street is closed for a parade or a film shoot, the dispatcher tells the driver the alternative before you notice.
Airport transfers from The St. Regis Toronto: Pearson, Billy Bishop and Hamilton
The three airports sit at very different distances from this address, and the right one depends on the airline you are flying, not just the drive. The figures below are road distance and free-flow drive time from the hotel area; add the rush-hour range when you plan.

| Airport | Distance from the hotel | Free-flow drive | Typical weekday rush hour | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 29 km | ~27 min | roughly 45–75 min | Flight tracking, meet-and-greet available as an add-on |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), Eireann Quay | about 3 km | ~6 min | roughly 10–20 min | Mainland pickup; passengers walk through the tunnel |
| Hamilton (YHM) | about 85 km | ~76 min | roughly 95–130 min | Longer trip; leave generous margin |
Every airport pickup includes flight tracking, so a delayed landing moves your car with it. On international arrivals we allow 60 minutes of free waiting after landing; on domestic arrivals, 30 minutes. A name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals is available as an add-on when you want help with luggage or a first-time visitor needs a face to look for. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
For a closer look at each airport's pickup routine, see our guides to Pearson airport limo service, Billy Bishop airport limo service and Hamilton airport limo service, or the comparison on our airport limo Toronto page.
Pearson to Bay Street: what the 29 kilometres really involve
Pearson to the financial district is about 29 km and takes around 27 minutes when the roads are empty. The usual route runs east on the 401 or south on the 427 and then east on the Gardiner Expressway, and the dispatcher picks between them using live traffic rather than habit. At 7:30 on a weekday morning the same trip can stretch past 60 minutes; on a Sunday night it can be under half an hour.
If your meeting starts at nine and your flight lands at 6:50, a car waiting at arrivals will get you to the hotel by 8:00 on a clear morning. If it lands at 8:10, go straight to the meeting and send the bags ahead with the driver.
On arrival, the St. Regis is a short walk from several downtown connections. Toronto's PATH walkway network covers more than 30 kilometres and links Union Station, six subway stations, Scotiabank Arena and Roy Thomson Hall, which makes the neighbourhood easy on foot when the weather is bad. We do not claim that the hotel has its own PATH entrance; ask the front desk if that matters.
Billy Bishop and the three-kilometre hop
Billy Bishop is the closest airport to The St. Regis, about 3 km and roughly six minutes at free-flow, but it is also the one where a car is easiest to misplace. The airport sits on an island and passengers reach it by a pedestrian tunnel 853 feet long, with four moving walkways, that the airport says takes under six minutes from curb to check-in.

Your car meets you on the mainland side, at the foot of Eireann Quay, not on the island. The airport's own rules for the area are strict: the curb outside the mainland pavilion and ferry terminal is reserved for active loading and unloading, with a short stop allowed in the turning circle. The airport's page does not address limousines or chauffeurs, so we confirm the exact pickup point with you at booking and your driver follows the airport's posted curb rules.
For departures, leave the hotel about 90 minutes before a domestic flight to allow for the drive, the tunnel walk and security.
An honest note: with only a carry-on and time to spare, the airport's free shuttle to Union Station is a fair choice. It runs about every 15 minutes in the main part of the day and takes about 15 minutes. The full range of options is in our Billy Bishop guide.
Hourly limo service for Bay Street meetings and roadshows
The strongest reason to book a car for a stay at The St. Regis is the hourly block. A chauffeur by the hour stays with you across several stops, holds the luggage, carries the umbrella and has the next address ready. Our hourly chauffeur service is built for exactly this pattern, and the corporate car service page covers account billing and repeat travellers.
A typical roadshow day from the hotel looks like this:
- 7:45, hotel to the first bank tower on Bay Street. The distance is under 1 km, but the walk with materials is longer than the drive.
- 9:30, to a second meeting in the east end of the financial district, about 1.5 km and 8 to 12 minutes.
- 11:30, to Union Station for a lunch with a client arriving by rail. Roughly 1 km and 5 to 10 minutes.
- 14:00, to a site visit in the 905. A Markham or Vaughan campus is typically about 30 km and 35 to 50 minutes depending on the hour.
- 18:30, back to the hotel for a client dinner at LOUIX LOUIS or elsewhere, with a pickup scheduled for the end of the evening.
On a day like that, the hourly block usually works out better than separate point-to-point trips because the driver knows where you are going next and the car is already there. The booker shows the exact fare for the hours and vehicle you choose before you confirm.
Conventions, concerts and the walkable neighbourhood
The hotel's neighbourhood is dense with venues, and most of them are close enough to walk on a dry day. The question is not whether a car can get there; it is whether the car is the better choice.

- Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The MTCC at 222 Bremner Boulevard lists events across its North and South Buildings throughout the year, and it advertises indoor access to public transit. It is about 1.5 km from the hotel, a five-minute drive or a brisk walk. For exhibitors with crates and display materials, a car or van is far better than the subway. See our guide to MTCC arrivals for loading-dock timing.
- Scotiabank Arena. About 1.5 km south-east; the arena is on the PATH. On game and concert nights Bay Street closes in places. Our Scotiabank Arena pickup guide explains why we pick up a block or two away.
- Roy Thomson Hall and the theatre district. About 1 km west of the hotel. Show-night pickups work well from a side street. Our theatre district guide has the details.
- Exhibition Place. Home to the Enercare Centre, about 5 km west and 12 to 20 minutes depending on the hour. Exhibition Place lists events across several buildings; see event transportation for multi-day shows.
For groups heading to a game, concert or gala, see our concert and sports limo service and Executive Sprinter.
Ballroom events, galas and client dinners
The reopened ballrooms bring events with a predictable shape: guests arrive in a rush between 6 and 7 pm, then leave in a wave at 10 or 11 pm. That closing window is the hardest part of any hotel event for a car service. Stagger departures across two or three vehicles, name one lead guest the chauffeur can text, and book the return before you leave rather than at 10:50 into a queue of rideshares.
Multi-vehicle bookings are arranged through our wedding limo and night out limo pages. Alcohol rules follow Ontario law and are confirmed at booking.
Site visits, day trips and long-distance runs from Bay Street
A hotel stay on Bay Street often includes one trip out of the city. We have found the following are the most common, with distances from the downtown core:
- Markham or Vaughan campuses. About 30 km and 35 to 50 minutes. See our Markham and Vaughan city pages.
- Mississauga corporate parks. About 25 km and 30 to 50 minutes; Mississauga limo service covers them.
- Waterloo Region. Roughly 100 km and one hour 15 minutes when the 401 is clear. From Pearson it is about 95 km and 1 to 1.25 hours, covered on the Pearson to Kitchener-Waterloo route page.
- Niagara Falls. About 130 km via the QEW, 80 to 100 minutes. See Toronto to Niagara Falls.
- Ottawa. About 450 km, 4.5 to 5 hours, on the Toronto to Ottawa route.
- Montréal. About 541 km, 5.5 to 6.5 hours, on the Toronto to Montréal route.
For a trip across the border, travellers need valid travel documents; check CBSA and the destination country's requirements before you go, and plan for the border wait as part of the trip. Our cross-border limo page lists the usual crossings.
Honest alternatives: when a chauffeur is the right choice and when it is not
Not every trip from The St. Regis needs a private car. This table sets out what you actually have downtown and who it suits.
| Option | Time to or from Pearson | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union Station, then walk or taxi | About 28 minutes train time, plus the walk | Lowest; the Standard Fare Table lists $12.35 one-way (as of 2026) | Light luggage, daytime, solo travellers |
| TTC subway and bus | Longer; transfers needed | Lowest | Time-flexible travellers with a carry-on |
| Taxi rank or meter taxi | Similar to a car in free flow | Meter plus possible surge and tolls | Spur-of-the-moment trips |
| Rideshare | Similar to a car in free flow | Dynamic; can spike at peak | Casual single trips |
| Private chauffeur with TorontoBlackLimousine.net | Door to door, no transfers | Fixed fare via booker, quoted before you book | Late flights, groups, luggage, roadshows, anything with a deadline |
The UP Express runs between Pearson and Union with stops at Mount Dennis, Weston and Bloor, and the St. Regis is a walk from Union Station. If you arrive at midday with one bag and no urgency, the train is usually the better choice. If you arrive at midnight, with three bags, a child, or a 7 am meeting, the car wins. Our limo vs rideshare guide covers the rest.

Timing, traffic and the Gardiner
Three things shape most trips to this address: the weekday rush, when the Gardiner and the 401 slow from about 3:30 pm until 7; event nights, when Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre and Roy Thomson Hall each add closures; and snow, which hurts the Gardiner more than the 401. Book airport transfers a day ahead, keep your flight number in the booking and pad early-morning arrivals by about 15 minutes.
