A Union Station Toronto car service is one half of a pair. The other half is the station at the far end of your train, and on the Windsor to Québec City Corridor that can be Montréal, Ottawa, Kingston or Québec City. TorontoBlackLimousine.net books a chauffeur at the station you arrive at, with the pickup point confirmed in advance, the vehicle matched to your bags and a fixed fare quoted before you pay. This hub explains how the stations work and links to a dedicated page for each of the four busiest.
How does a car service at a VIA Rail station work?
Book the pickup in the online booker with your station, train number and destination. The booker shows the exact all-in fare for your address and vehicle before you pay, and the pickup point at the station is confirmed at booking so your chauffeur and you find each other quickly.
Every VIA Rail station has a curbside zone, though the details differ. At Toronto Union, Ottawa and Québec City, VIA places it in front of the main entrance. At Montréal Central the accessible drop-off spot is to the left of the main entrance. At Kingston it is at the front left, beside the taxi queue. Because the layouts differ, we give you the exact spot at booking instead of a generic instruction.
The four main stations at a glance

| Station | Address | Station hours | Airport nearby |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Union | 65 Front Street West | Daily, 5:30 a.m. to 12:45 a.m. | Pearson, about 33 km |
| Montréal Central | 895 de la Gauchetière West | Mon to Sat 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sun 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. | Trudeau, about 18 km |
| Ottawa | 200 Tremblay Road | Varies by day, from 3:45 a.m. | Macdonald-Cartier, about 14 km |
| Québec City, Gare du Palais | 450 rue de la Gare du Palais | Weekdays 4 a.m. to midnight; weekends from 6 a.m. | Jean-Lesage, about 15 km |
Addresses and hours come from VIA Rail's station pages and can change, so confirm on the day. The airport distances are road distances from the station with normal driving conditions.
Union Station Toronto car service
Toronto Union is at 65 Front Street West, between Bay and York Streets, across from the Royal York Hotel. The station's own FAQ page says there is no parking and no public lockers, so a pickup at the curb is the practical way to move luggage. Pearson is about 33 km away, typically 30 to 50 minutes. The detail is on the Union Station Toronto limo page, which covers the Front Street curb, UP Express, GO and the PATH walkway.
Montréal Central Station car service
Gare Centrale is at 895 de la Gauchetière West, under the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, near the Bonaventure and McGill metro stations. VIA's Montréal station page lists the STM 747 express shuttle to Trudeau among its connections. A car to Trudeau is about 18 km, typically 20 to 35 minutes. We cover it on the Montréal Central Station page, and our crews work in English and French in Québec.

Ottawa station car service
Ottawa's VIA station is at 200 Tremblay Road, about 4 km from downtown, and VIA's page tells drivers to leave the Queensway at the Vanier Parkway exit. With the station that far from the centre, the last leg needs a plan. Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International is about 14 km away, typically 20 to 30 minutes. See the Ottawa station page for the curb and for downtown and Gatineau routes.
Québec City: Gare du Palais
Gare du Palais is at 450 rue de la Gare du Palais, in the lower town below the old walled city, and VIA's page puts the curbside zone on the sidewalk in front of the main entrance. Jean-Lesage Airport is about 15 km away, typically 20 to 30 minutes. The Gare du Palais page covers Old Québec, the Sainte-Foy alternative and hotel drop-offs.

Other stations on the Corridor
The same booking works at stations we do not give their own page. VIA lists Kingston at 1800 John Counter Boulevard, London at 205 York Street, Windsor at 298 Walker Road and Niagara Falls at 4267 Bridge Street, which VIA describes as unstaffed. Tell the booker the station name and the street address, and the pickup is confirmed at booking. For airport transfers from the same cities, start at the airports hub.
When the train is better than a car, and when it is not
The train is calm, work-friendly and city centre to city centre. VIA lists an average of 5 h 13 min for Toronto to Montréal (538 km) and 4 h 32 min for Toronto to Ottawa (444 km), on its Toronto to Montréal and Toronto to Ottawa route pages. A car is door to door, takes a group in one vehicle and does not depend on a timetable.

Honest rule of thumb: one traveller, light bag, city-centre to city-centre, take the train. A family, a team, heavy luggage or an address away from a station, take the car, or take the train and book the last leg. Our private drives between the cities are on the routes hub.
Station to airport: the honest options
| Option | Typical time | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private chauffeur (booked here) | 20 to 50 minutes, depending on the city | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, luggage, early flights |
| Airport rail or express bus | Varies by city | Lowest | Solo travellers with light bags |
| Local transit with transfers | Longest | Lowest | Budget trips with time to spare |
| Taxi from the stand | Same as a car | Meter-based | Unplanned arrivals |
| Rideshare | Same as a car | Meter plus surge | Spontaneous trips |
In Toronto the rail option is UP Express and in Montréal it is the STM 747 shuttle. In Ottawa and Québec City, check the local transit authority for current airport service. If a published train or bus suits your timing and your bags, use it.
Vehicles for station pickups
An Executive Sedan carries up to three passengers with two large and two carry-on bags. Six people and five or six large cases fit in a luxury SUV. The executive Sprinter has 12 to 14 seats and room for a dozen or more cases. Child, toddler and booster seats are available when requested at booking. See the fleet page.
Booking and cancellation
Booking is online and the fare is fixed and quoted before you pay. More than 72 hours' notice carries no charge. From 72 hours before the booked pickup the fee is 10%; from 48 hours, 50%; from 24 hours, or on a no-show, 100%. Vehicles and chauffeurs are licensed and commercially insured, and dispatch runs around the clock.
