How do I book a limo service to or from Park Hyatt Toronto?
Open the booker, enter 4 Avenue Road as your pickup or drop-off, choose Pearson, Billy Bishop, Union Station or an hourly block, then pick a vehicle. The exact fare appears on screen before you commit, and the chauffeur confirms the door once you are ready.
Park Hyatt Toronto sits at the corner where Yorkville meets the university and museum district, and that location makes it an unusually good base for a chauffeur. The Royal Ontario Museum is a short walk away, the Bloor Street shops start at the door, and the financial district is a drive of about 3.5 km. TorontoBlackLimousine.net is an independent Toronto black-car service: we have no arrangement with the hotel and the hotel has not recommended us. You book direct, see the exact fare first, and our dispatch team runs the car around the clock.
Park Hyatt Toronto at a glance
The hotel is at 4 Avenue Road, at Bloor Street in Yorkville. It reopened on 15 September 2021 after a closure that began with a major makeover announced in 2019, carried out by Hyatt and the owner, Oxford Properties. Destination Toronto describes the restored hotel as having 219 guest rooms and about 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Published details worth knowing before a car is booked:

- The Writers Room. The 17th-floor cocktail bar returned with the renovation and pays tribute to the writers who once gathered there. Hyatt lists it as open to guests aged 19 and over.
- The Terrace Room. Destination Toronto lists it on the 17th floor beside the Writers Room, with panoramic skyline views.
- Joni. The lobby restaurant and lounge, which the hotel describes as built around seasonal, locally sourced cooking.
- The heritage tower. The redevelopment included 65 rental apartments in the restored south tower at Two Avenue Road, so the corner is busy with residents as well as guests.
Room counts and spaces change over time. Treat the figures above as published descriptions and confirm anything critical with the hotel.
Where the car stops at Bloor and Avenue Road
One of the busiest corners in the city does not leave much curb. Avenue Road carries commuter traffic, Bloor Street is busy with buses and cyclists, and the hotel's entrance has to serve guests, deliveries and event arrivals. We do not describe the hotel's entrance arrangements beyond what the hotel itself publishes; the chauffeur confirms the exact door on the day, usually when you message that you are ready.
What helps is a ready time that is honest. If you tell the driver you will be down at 8:15, the car arrives at 8:10 and spends five minutes close by, not twenty in a loading zone. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, add a note so the driver positions the car where a bellman can reach it.
For event guests who are not staying at the hotel, such as a dinner at Joni or a private function on the 17th floor, the same rule applies: the driver stages nearby and pulls up when you are ready.
Airport transfers from Park Hyatt Toronto
The airport you choose depends on your airline more than the drive. These are road distances and free-flow drive times from the hotel; weekday rush hour adds the range shown.

| Airport | Road distance | Free-flow time | Weekday rush hour | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 24 km | ~28 min | roughly 40–70 min | Flight tracking, meet-and-greet as an add-on |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), Eireann Quay | about 6 km | ~10 min | roughly 20–35 min | Mainland pickup, tunnel to the terminal |
| Hamilton (YHM) | about 87 km | ~80 min | roughly 100–135 min | Long trip, leave margin |
Flight tracking is standard on airport pickups, and the waiting allowance is 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 on domestic ones. Many first-time guests add the name-board meet-and-greet in arrivals. The fare for your exact route is shown in full before you pay. Our airport guides cover the detail: Pearson airport limo, Billy Bishop airport limo, Hamilton airport limo and the airport limo Toronto comparison.
Pearson to Yorkville in practice
Pearson to the hotel is about 24 km, 28 minutes when the roads are empty. Which route wins depends on the hour. Early morning and late evening, the 401 and then south on Avenue Road or Allen Road is direct. At peak times the dispatcher may choose the 427 and the Gardiner Expressway instead and approach through the downtown grid. You do not have to choose, because the driver reads live traffic.
The more useful question is what time to book. On a weekday morning, add at least 30 minutes to the free-flow time; the same trip on a Sunday evening can come in under 30. If your flight lands at 7:00 and you have a ten o'clock meeting, a car waiting at arrivals is comfortably enough. If you land at 9:00, plan to go to the meeting directly and send the bags ahead.
Customs and immigration happen inside Pearson as usual. Our waiting window starts when the flight lands, so a long immigration line does not cost you your car.
Billy Bishop from Yorkville
Billy Bishop is about 6 km from the hotel and roughly 10 minutes in free flow, which makes it the shortest airport run, but it requires a short walk. The airport sits on an island reached by a pedestrian tunnel of 853 feet with four moving walkways; the airport says it takes under six minutes from curb to check-in. Your car meets you on the mainland side at Eireann Quay.

The airport's curb rules are tight: the curb outside the mainland pavilion is for active loading and unloading only, taxis queue at a corral to the right of the pavilion, and rideshare uses the curb beside Little Norway Park. The page says nothing about limousines or chauffeurs, so the pickup point is agreed with you at booking. Leave the hotel about 90 minutes before a domestic departure.
If you arrive at Billy Bishop with a carry-on and no hurry, the airport's free shuttle to Union Station is a sensible alternative. See our Billy Bishop guide for the comparison.
Union Station, VIA Rail and the UP Express
Union Station is about 4.5 km from the hotel, 15 to 25 minutes depending on the hour. The route runs south along University Avenue or Avenue Road and the downtown grid. A car is worth considering for a VIA departure with luggage or an early train; our Union Station car service page covers pickups and the rail connections.
The UP Express runs between Pearson and Union with stops at Mount Dennis, Weston and Bloor; the operator advertises about 28 minutes. The Standard Fare Table lists $12.35 one-way as of 2026. From Union to Yorkville you still need a taxi or a subway leg. That is why guests with light luggage sometimes take the train in and a car out, or the reverse.
Hourly limo service from Yorkville to Bay Street
The most useful way to use a car from Park Hyatt Toronto is by the hour. The financial district is about 3.5 km away, 12 to 20 minutes in daytime traffic, and a roadshow day often alternates between Yorkville, Bay Street and the 905. A chauffeur by the hour waits, holds the luggage and has the next address ready. Our hourly chauffeur service and corporate car service pages explain accounts and multi-stop days.

A sample day from the hotel:
- 8:00, to a bank tower on Bay Street, about 3.5 km and 12 to 20 minutes.
- 10:30, to a second meeting in the financial district, a few blocks away.
- 12:30, to Union Station for a client lunch, about 1 km from the meetings.
- 14:30, to a campus in Markham or Vaughan, about 30 km and 35 to 55 minutes.
- 18:30, back to Yorkville for dinner, with the evening pickup booked at the same time.
On a day like that, a single hourly booking is usually easier to manage than five separate trips. Pick the hours and the vehicle, and the exact fare is on screen before you confirm.
Yorkville, the ROM and the university district
The Royal Ontario Museum is at 100 Queen's Park and is a short walk from the hotel. The museum lists its hours on its home page. Museum visits are a walk, not a drive, and we say so honestly. Where a car helps is on days that link several sights: a morning at the ROM, lunch in Yorkville, an afternoon at a gallery downtown, and a stop at the Distillery District on the way back. See our city tours page for itineraries, and the blog post on the ROM and Yorkville for a ready-made loop.
September brings the film festival, with parties and screenings across Yorkville and King Street. Streets close at short notice, and a driver who has done the route before knows where to meet you. Our TIFF week transport guide goes into detail.
Meetings and events at the hotel
With about 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space on Destination Toronto's figures, the hotel hosts board dinners, small conferences and private receptions. Our job is the movement around those events: staggered arrivals, a clean airport transfer for the keynote speaker, and a return plan that does not depend on a rideshare queue at 10:45 pm.
For groups, the choice is between several Executive Sedans, a Luxury SUV for a small team, or an Executive Sprinter for 12 to 14 people. See event transportation and the Sprinter van service. Any alcohol questions are settled at booking under Ontario law.

Honest alternatives
| Option | Typical time from Pearson | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express plus a taxi from Union | About 28 min train, plus the onward leg | Lowest | Light luggage, daytime |
| Subway and walking | Longer; transfers | Lowest | Short Yorkville hops |
| Taxi | Similar to a car in free flow | Meter plus possible surge and tolls | Quick local trips |
| Rideshare | Similar to a car in free flow | Dynamic | Casual single trips |
| Private chauffeur with TorontoBlackLimousine.net | Door to door | Fixed fare via booker, quoted before you book | Late arrivals, luggage, groups, anything on a deadline |
If you are going two blocks to the ROM, walk. If you arrive at noon with one bag, UP Express is often the better value. A chauffeur earns its place when the trip has a deadline, a lot of baggage, or more than one stop. Read our limo vs rideshare guide for the longer comparison.
Which vehicle for Yorkville
Yorkville's streets are narrow and busy, so smaller vehicles suit the neighbourhood; larger ones stage nearby. See our fleet.
- Executive Sedan. Up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 carry-on bags.
- Luxury SUV. Up to 6 passengers, 5 to 6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter. 12 to 14 passengers, 12 or more bags.
- Stretch Limousine. 8 to 10 passengers, hourly; see stretch limo service. The exact vehicle is confirmed at booking, subject to availability.
- Mini-coach or party bus. 20 to 30 passengers, hourly, confirmed at booking.
Seats for infants, toddlers and boosters can be requested at booking; see car seat service.
Timing and weather
Bloor Street and Avenue Road are slowest on weekday afternoons and on festival weekends. Snow slows the Gardiner more than the 401. Book airport transfers a day ahead, give your flight number, and add about 15 minutes to early-morning departures. The chauffeur can switch routes without asking you.
More than 72 hours' notice means no charge for a cancellation; 72 hours or less is 10 percent, 48 hours or less is 50 percent, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 percent, measured from the scheduled pickup time.

Frequently asked questions

Pearson to 4 Avenue Road is about 24 km and usually takes 28 to 50 minutes. The booker prices your exact route and vehicle before you pay, so the number you see is the number you are charged.
Can the car wait while I attend a meeting?
Yes, on an hourly booking. The chauffeur stages nearby and pulls up when you are ready, because curbs near Bloor and Avenue Road are for active loading only.
How far is Billy Bishop airport from Park Hyatt Toronto?
About 6 km, roughly 10 minutes in free flow. The driver waits at Eireann Quay on the mainland side, and you walk the pedestrian tunnel to the terminal.
Is TorontoBlackLimousine.net connected to the hotel?
No. We are a separate, independent company, and the hotel has not endorsed us. The chauffeur confirms the exact door with you on the day.

Yes. It is about 4.5 km and 15 to 25 minutes. At busy hours, book the car for at least 45 minutes before departure.

Can I book a stretch limousine or party bus?
Yes, by the hour. The exact vehicle is confirmed at booking, and any alcohol questions follow Ontario law.
Can you take me across the border?
Yes. Bring a passport or another accepted document such as a NEXUS card, and allow extra time at the crossing. See cross-border limo and the Buffalo airport guide.
