That is fine for a pickup, but it means a group should plan to meet at the curb. Second, with check-out at noon, many guests leave in the same hour. A booking that names a precise ready time, such as 11:40, avoids a queue at the door.

1. For a 3:00 pm domestic flight from Pearson, leave Yorkville around 12:15 pm. The drive is about 25 km and takes 29 minutes free-flow, 40 to 70 at weekday rush hour, which at that hour is usually the lower end.
2. For a 5:30 pm international departure from Pearson, a 1:45 pm pickup leaves a comfortable margin.
3. For a 4:00 pm flight from Billy Bishop, a 2:15 pm pickup is plenty: about 6 km, 12 minutes, plus a tunnel walk of under six minutes by the airport's own figure.

If you want to use the late check-out and still leave in the afternoon, book the car for a time that leaves a buffer rather than the earliest possible time. The driver watches the traffic and tells you if the plan needs to move.

Pearson to Yorkville: a quiet arrival

Pearson to the hotel is about 25 km and roughly 29 minutes in free flow. After a long flight, the quiet of a private car is the point. Yorkville is calm in the morning and crowded from about 4 pm on Fridays, when diners, shoppers and commuters arrive together.
