Every event on this page has a dated guide written from the curb: which streets close, where a car can stop, how far the drive is and when the train or the subway is simply better. The calendar below runs through the year in order. Dates move, so each entry gives the usual month and tells you to check the organiser; we never guess a date.
For the booking itself, limo service Toronto is the starting point, and the online booker shows the exact all-in fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
When should you book a limo for an event or holiday in Toronto, Ontario or Québec?
Book as soon as the dates are public, and early for long weekends, New Year's Eve, TIFF week, Pride and Christmas week. Road closures start hours before the first act, so the pickup point matters more than the clock. The booker quotes a fixed fare before you pay.
Large events do not break a car plan, but they do move it. A drop-off two blocks from the gate, a meeting point on a side street and a flight-tracked airport pickup are the three habits that keep an event day calm. Our event transportation page covers groups and shuttles in more detail.

Which of these days are statutory holidays?
It depends on the province, and the two official lists differ. Check Ontario's public holidays and Québec's statutory holidays for the current year.
| Day | Ontario | Québec |
|---|---|---|
| Victoria Day / National Patriots' Day (Monday before 25 May) | Public holiday | Statutory holiday |
| Fête nationale (24 June) | No | Statutory holiday |
| Canada Day (1 July) | Public holiday | Statutory holiday |
| Civic Holiday (first Monday of August) | Not a public holiday | Not on the list |
| Thanksgiving (second Monday of October) | Public holiday | Statutory holiday |
| Christmas Day | Public holiday | Statutory holiday |
| Boxing Day (26 December) | Public holiday | Not on the list |
When a limousine wins on an event day, and when it does not
| Situation | Usually the better choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Stadium or festival crowd, downtown, one or two people | TTC, GO or the métro | Frequent service and no closures to work around |
| Long weekend to Muskoka, Blue Mountain or Niagara with luggage | Chauffeured car or Sprinter | Door to door, with no parking or last-mile leg |
| Late show finishing after most service thins out | Pre-booked car | Fixed pickup and a fixed fare quoted before you pay |
| Family with young children | Car with the right seat | Seats are added when you ask at booking |
| Toronto to Ottawa or Montréal, one traveller | VIA Rail or a car | The train is good value solo; a car wins for groups and luggage |
Plain advice: when one person is going to a closed-street festival, transit is usually the better choice. Groups, luggage, children and the ride home are where a booked car earns its place. Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are hourly bookings, and availability and the exact vehicle are confirmed at booking. Alcohol rules follow Ontario and Québec law and are confirmed at booking. Vehicle classes are on the fleet page.
Frequently asked questions
When should I book a limo for New Year's Eve in Toronto?
As soon as your plans are fixed. New Year's Eve has a midnight window when everyone wants a car at once, and Queens Quay closes from the evening. The Toronto guide explains meeting points, and the booker shows the exact fare before you confirm.
Do you publish exact event dates?
No, because dates change every year. Each entry gives the usual month and links to the organiser's official site. Our guides state the dates the organiser had published when we wrote them.
How far is Toronto from the Québec festivals?
Montréal is about 541 km from Toronto, a run of roughly 5.5 to 6.5 hours, and Québec City is about 255 km farther. See Toronto to Montréal by car.
Is the Civic Holiday a statutory holiday?
Not in Ontario, where it is not on the public holiday list, and it is not on Québec's list either. Some employers give the day off anyway.
Can a group of 12 get to a festival in one vehicle?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter seats 12 to 14 passengers with luggage. For larger groups, mini-coaches and party buses are hourly bookings, with availability confirmed at booking.
What if my flight is delayed on a holiday weekend?
Flight tracking applies to every airport pickup. Waiting time is 60 minutes free after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones.
What happens if I need to cancel an event booking?
More than 72 hours' notice carries no charge. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time.
