What is the easiest way to get a limo or black car to the Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre?
Enter 525 Bay Street in the TorontoBlackLimousine.net booker, add your flight number or your hourly plan, and choose the vehicle. You see one fixed fare for that address before you pay. Pearson is about 29 km away and Billy Bishop about 4 km; flight tracking is included.
This hotel is a different kind of booking from the boutique addresses in the city. It is a large convention hotel on Bay Street, joined to a shopping centre that moves tens of thousands of people through downtown, and its guests usually arrive as part of a group. A limo service Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre guests can use has to handle both the single executive with a 6 a.m. flight and the forty delegates who all leave for the airport at 4 p.m. on the same afternoon.
Our approach is to quote one fare per vehicle in the online booker, then add vehicles as the group grows. The booker shows a fixed fare before you pay. The Toronto dispatch watches the traffic on Bay Street and the Gardiner Expressway through the day and adjusts departures, not fares.
We have no connection with the hotel, and the hotel does not recommend us. Everything below is meant to help you plan the cars once the room is booked.
The name: Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre
If a colleague tells you to meet at "the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre", they mean this hotel. Industry listings and recent trade coverage use the current name, Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, and an earlier trade story refers to it as the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre. The "CF" matches the Cadillac Fairview shopping centre next door, which Cadillac Fairview markets as CF Toronto Eaton Centre. We cannot tell you when the name changed, but the building and the address are the same: 525 Bay Street, Toronto, M5G 2L2.

Trade coverage of a recent renovation says the meeting and event space was renovated and reopened, with new technology and lighting, and that the hotel has a sports-simulator lounge called PAR BAR (Stay Magazine). The title of this page keeps the short form people actually search for; the details are for the hotel as it operates now.
Where the car stops on Bay Street
No private-car lane is published for this hotel, and we do not guess one. Your confirmation names the chauffeur and vehicle; the exact door is settled on the day, once the chauffeur has seen what Bay Street and Dundas are doing.
A few things that always help:
- Tell us if it is a group. Three Sprinters waiting at once need a plan. We send them in a line, not together.
- Stagger the call times. Give delegates a five-minute window to be in the lobby, not a single minute.
- Check the valet. A review of the hotel notes that valet-parked guests wait in the entrance seating area, which gets crowded at check-out times. A chauffeur loading a Sprinter fits into that flow if you give a ten-minute window.
Airport transfers: Pearson, Billy Bishop and Hamilton

| Airport | Distance to 525 Bay Street | Free-flow drive | Typical weekday peak |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 29 km | about 28 min | 45–80 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), mainland pickup at Eireann Quay | about 4 km | about 7 min | 15–25 min |
| Hamilton (YHM) | about 85 km | about 77 min | 100–140 min |
Pearson. Most delegates arrive here. Give the flight number and we track it; international arrivals include 60 minutes free waiting after landing, domestic 30. For a group on one flight, a single booking with several vehicles works better than separate bookings, because the dispatcher can see the full list. A name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals is available as an add-on, useful when forty people need to find one person; see the meet-and-greet page. The full procedure is on the Pearson airport limo page.
Billy Bishop. The airport is at 2 Eireann Quay at the foot of Bathurst Street, about 4 km from the hotel. The airport publishes that its pedestrian tunnel is 853 feet long and that the walk from the curb to check-in takes six minutes or less (airport tunnel page). For private vehicles it publishes a brief curb stop outside the mainland pavilion and a five-minute limit in the turning circle (pick-up and drop-off). The Billy Bishop airport limo page has the rest.
Hamilton. A long run for a downtown hotel, but sometimes the right one. See Hamilton airport limo.
Conventions and delegations: moving a group from 525 Bay Street
The hotel's event space is the reason this page exists. Trade coverage describes more than 26,000 square feet of meeting space, two pillarless ballrooms facing each other, a large pre-function area and 10 breakout rooms (Stay Magazine). Rooms on that scale mean groups of hundreds. That is a different problem from a car booking: you do not send cars to every guest. You choose the moments when private transport earns its cost.
Those moments are usually:
- The speaker or principal arrival. A Luxury SUV or Executive Sedan, timed to the call sheet.
- The airport waves. Delegates leaving on the same flights share an Executive Sprinter, which carries 12 to 14 passengers and 12 or more bags.
- The off-site dinner. A group of 30 to 60 goes to a restaurant or a venue across the city. Mini-coaches carry 20 to 30 passengers and run by the hour, subject to confirmation of the exact vehicle at booking.
- The late-night return. The last bus is never late enough; plan the return before the evening starts.
The event transportation page explains how our dispatch handles staging and shuttles, and the corporate car service page covers accounts and invoicing.
Shuttle loops to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre
If your conference is spread across two sites, a loop between the hotel and the convention centre makes sense. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has a North Building and a South Building, and lists its events on its site; it describes itself as within walking distance of downtown hotels and as offering indoor access to public transit (MTCC). The straight-line distance is not far, but with Bay Street, Front Street and event traffic, a road trip is about 3 km and 10 to 18 minutes.

An Executive Sprinter running every 15 to 20 minutes can carry several hundred delegates over a morning. The point of hiring one is not that the walk is impossible, but that a weather day, a suit, a roll-up display or a mobility need changes the maths. Our post on MTCC arrivals goes through exhibitor drop-offs and the airport runs that bracket a show.
An hourly car for executives: Bay Street, University Avenue and Yorkville
For individual executives, the hourly service is the best value of a car. Hourly chauffeur means the car waits and the route changes. Typical trips from the hotel:
| Destination from 525 Bay Street | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Union Station | about 2 km | 8–15 min |
| Scotiabank Arena | about 2.5 km | 10–15 min |
| Metro Toronto Convention Centre | about 3 km | 10–18 min |
| Yorkville | about 2.5 km | 10–15 min |
These are approximate road distances and off-peak times; a weekday peak can double them. Bay Street's banks and law firms, the courts and the hospital corridor on University Avenue are all a few minutes away. The hotel is, as one reviewer put it, a short walk from the old and new City Halls and Nathan Phillips Square (Prince of Travel review), which makes it useful for civic and legal business.
For a 905 trip, read Mississauga limo, Vaughan limo and Markham limo. Expect an hour or more from the hotel at a weekday peak.
The Eaton Centre next door: shopping weekends and group excursions
The hotel is next to the centre, and the Eaton Centre sits above the Dundas subway station according to the same review. The centre's own listing shows hours of 10:00 to 21:00 Monday to Saturday and 11:00 to 19:00 Sunday (CF Toronto Eaton Centre); check them before a visit, because holiday hours differ.

For visitors on a shopping weekend, the car is useful at the end rather than the beginning. Book a pickup at the hotel for the airport, and leave the bags at the front desk until the car arrives. If a family is moving between shopping, a show and a dinner, use the night out limo approach, with a car that waits.
Arena nights and concerts close to Bay and Dundas
Scotiabank Arena is at 40 Bay Street, about 2.5 km from the hotel, and its own site says that Union Station links the arena with the TTC and GO Transit (Scotiabank Arena getting here). Massey Hall is a short walk east of the hotel. On event nights the first mile is the problem.
Our pre- and post-event posts explain the patterns in detail: Scotiabank Arena pickup guide for Leafs, Raptors and concerts, and Massey Hall concert nights. The principle is the same: book the return for 20 to 30 minutes after the event ends, and let the chauffeur choose the stop. See concert and sports limo for how it works.
A worked example: forty delegates, one afternoon departure
Suppose a two-day meeting ends at 3:30 p.m. and forty delegates fly out between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. from Pearson. Sending them all at once would put forty people on the road at the worst hour. A better plan: split the group by flight. The 6 p.m. flights leave the hotel at 3:45 p.m. in three Executive Sprinters; the 7 p.m. flights leave at 4:30 p.m.; the late flights leave after an early dinner. Each wave is a separate vehicle with its own chauffeur, and the dispatcher watches the Gardiner Expressway and Highway 427 through the afternoon. Because the fare is fixed in the booker, nobody has to argue about meter times, and the organiser sees one confirmed list.
Roadshows and day trips beyond the core
Not every meeting is downtown. A sales team might visit Waterloo Region, about 95 km from Pearson and 1 to 1.25 hours; see Pearson to Kitchener-Waterloo. A client trip might go to Niagara, about 130 km and 80 to 100 minutes, or to Ottawa, about 450 km and 4.5 to 5 hours each way; see Toronto to Niagara Falls and Toronto to Ottawa. The travel desk can combine legs into a single itinerary.
Pearson to Bay Street: the real alternatives
| Option | Time to 525 Bay Street | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union, then subway or a short ride | About 28 min on the train plus 10–20 min onward | Lowest | One traveller, light bag |
| TTC bus and subway | Slowest of all | Lowest | Anyone with time to spare |
| Taxi rank | 28–80 min | Meter plus surcharges | A one-off ride |
| Rideshare | 28–80 min | Meter-style plus surge | Spontaneous trips |
| Private chauffeur | 28–80 min | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, bags, a client, a deadline |
The UP Express site lists a standard one-way fare of $12.35 between Union and Pearson as of 2026, and a trip of about 28 minutes (UP Express). For one traveller with a laptop bag and a morning of free time, the train and a short ride can be the best option and we are happy to say so. The Dundas subway station under the Eaton Centre makes the last leg easy. The car wins for groups, heavy luggage and time-critical arrivals; limo versus rideshare sets out the full comparison.
Choosing the vehicle
For a conference group the useful classes are these, in order of group size:
- Executive Sedan for a speaker or a lone executive: up to 3 passengers, with 2 large and 2 carry-on bags.
- Luxury SUV for a small leadership party: up to 6 passengers and 5 to 6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter for a flight wave or a department: 12 to 14 passengers and 12 or more bags.
- Stretch Limousine for a celebration after the closing session: 8 to 10 passengers, booked by the hour.
- Mini-coach or party bus for an off-site dinner: 20 to 30 passengers, booked by the hour.
For the stretch limousines, party buses and coaches, availability and the exact vehicle are confirmed at booking. The fleet page shows the classes. Seats for infants, toddlers and older children can be added when you book. Alcohol rules follow Ontario law and are confirmed at booking.
