1. Booking and the confirmed fare
Your trip is booked once TorontoBlackLimousine.net sends a written confirmation. The amount shown there is a fixed fare for that route, date, pickup time and class of vehicle, and it does not change with traffic. Highway tolls, parking and airport access fees are added only where the confirmation lists them. Anything added after booking, such as an extra stop, a detour you ask for on the way, or waiting past the free allowance, is billed at the vehicle's hourly rate in blocks of fifteen minutes. Sales tax is charged at the rate of the province where the service takes place.
2. Free waiting
For international flights the chauffeur waits sixty minutes from the time the aircraft actually lands; for domestic flights the allowance is thirty minutes, and for every other pickup it is fifteen minutes. A trip can be recorded as a no-show when the allowance has run out and the passenger has neither contacted dispatch nor answered the phone.
3. Cancelling or changing a trip
The notice period is counted back from the pickup time printed on the confirmation:
| How much notice | What is charged |
|---|---|
| Over 72 hours | Nothing |
| 72 hours or under | 10% of the booked services |
| 48 hours or under | 50% of the booked services |
| 24 hours or under, or a no-show | 100% of the booked services |
Prom night, long-weekend holidays and city-wide conventions can have an earlier deadline; when they do, it is printed on the confirmation. A new time, address or vehicle can be arranged if a car is available.
4. On board
No more people may travel than the vehicle has seat belts for. Nobody may smoke or vape in a vehicle. Alcohol may be carried open only where the law of the province allows it and only by passengers who are of legal age, and the chauffeur may decline or stop a trip if behaviour on board becomes unsafe. A cleaning fee is charged when a vehicle has to be professionally cleaned after the trip.
5. Bags and belongings
Book a vehicle class that has room for the luggage you are bringing. We cannot accept responsibility for items forgotten in a vehicle, but we will try to reunite you with anything that is found.
6. Events we cannot control
TorontoBlackLimousine.net is not responsible for lateness caused by storms, closed roads, congestion, border inspection, police activity or anything else outside our reasonable control. Pickup times and routes are planned with ordinary conditions in mind.
7. Seats for children
Infant, toddler and booster seats are provided when you ask for them at booking and give each child's age and weight. The person booking is responsible for the accuracy of those details.
8. Questions
Reply to your confirmation email, or write to support@torontoblacklimousine.net, with any question about a booking.
