The International Centre at 6900 Airport Road is one of the easiest exhibition halls in the Greater Toronto Area to reach from a Pearson arrival gate. That is why airport-hotel guests, out-of-town buyers and weekend shoppers end up there. It is also why the planning mistakes at this venue are different from the ones downtown. Nobody is hunting for a parking space at the International Centre. They are choosing the right entrance on the right day.
This is a practical guide to a limo service for the International Centre in Mississauga, based on what the venue itself publishes and on how our Toronto dispatch plans these trips. It is useful whether you book with us or take a hotel shuttle, and it says plainly when the shuttle is the better choice.
The venue: what the International Centre is
The International Centre's own website gives its address as 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, Ontario, L4V 1E8. It describes more than 500,000 square feet of flexible, contiguous exhibition space and a 48,000 square foot conference centre, with exhibit halls that start at 30,000 square feet. It places itself at the crossroads of the major highways in the Greater Toronto Area and says it is only minutes from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
In practice that means the centre is a large suburban venue on Airport Road, with parking on site, and not a downtown venue with a curb and a doorman. The planning questions are about which entrance your event uses, how the crowds arrive, and how far you are from your hotel.
Entrances change with the event
The first thing to know is that the International Centre uses numbered entrances, and the entrance depends on the event. Its upcoming-events list shows how widely this varies. At the time of writing in early October 2026, the Pets Canada Industry Show, a trade-only show on October 7 and 8, uses Entrance 1. The Food Forward Summit on October 8, open to the public, uses Entrance 3. A Reebok warehouse sale and designer shoe sale on October 8 to 11 uses Entrance 4. The ICNA Canada Convention on October 10 and 11 uses Entrances 2 and 3.

Another institution that held graduation ceremonies there in June 2026 told guests to park near Entrance 5, with the ceremony in Hall 5. The lesson is simple. When you book a car, give us your event name and entrance number from the show's own visitor page, and not just the address. The same building can have four different front doors in the same week, and a chauffeur who knows which one you want will take you to the right one first.
How far is the International Centre from Pearson Airport?

The International Centre says it is minutes from Toronto Pearson. Door to door it is usually about 6 to 9 km and 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the terminal and the time of day. From downtown Toronto it is about 30 km, usually 35 to 60 minutes. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
The airport hotels along Airport Road and the surrounding streets are the reason this is the easiest venue to reach by car. A chauffeur collecting you from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 follows the airport roads to Airport Road and drives north. There is no Gardiner to cross and no downtown grid to navigate. The risk is not distance, it is timing: the morning and late-afternoon peaks on Airport Road, the 427 and the 401 interchange can double a ten-minute trip.
Our Pearson airport limo page explains how terminal pickups work, and the Mississauga limo service page covers the wider city, including Port Credit and the corporate parks along the airport corridor.
Complimentary parking, and why it still matters to a car booking
The International Centre says complimentary parking is available. For visitors who drive themselves that is a real advantage over downtown venues, and it explains why many consumer shows here are regional drive-in events. For a chauffeur it changes the plan in two ways.

First, you do not pay to park, so a booked car does not save you a parking fee the way it can downtown. A chauffeur saves you something else: the walk across a large lot in rain or snow, the search for a car after a long day, and the risk of driving after an evening event. Second, a big free parking area fills on popular show days, which means the road in is slow at opening time. We aim to arrive ahead of that queue and to leave after the first rush on the way out.
Show days: who goes to the International Centre and how they travel
The venue hosts a wide mix. Its current listing includes a trade-only industry show, a food summit, a warehouse sale and a large convention. That range tells you how different the transport needs are.

- Trade-only shows attract buyers and suppliers, many flying in. Their need is a reliable airport-to-hall transfer and a late return.
- Public sales and consumer shows bring shoppers who may travel by car or bus and who carry shopping bags on the way out.
- Conventions and community gatherings bring groups, often several families arriving together, which makes a larger vehicle the right answer.
For buyers and exhibitors who are on a work trip, a corporate car service booking gives you one fixed fare quoted before you pay, and a chauffeur who is waiting at the curb after the show. The event transportation page explains how multi-day schedules and group shuttles are planned.
Airport hotel shuttle or a private car: an honest comparison
Most delegates staying near Pearson will ask whether the hotel shuttle will do. The venue's website does not list a shuttle, and we found no hotel shuttle that serves the centre directly, so ask your hotel or the event organiser whether one runs on show days. If your hotel runs a shared van to the show, it is often the lowest-cost choice. A private car is better when your schedule does not match the shuttle, when you carry samples, or when you arrive late.
| Option | Typical time | Cost note | Best for | |---|---|---|---| | Hotel shuttle, if one runs | Depends on stops | Often included for guests | Hotel guests on a fixed show schedule | | Private chauffeur from Pearson | About 10 to 20 minutes | Fixed fare via booker | Exhibitors, samples, late arrivals | | Taxi | Similar, depends on the queue | Meter plus surcharges | Unplanned trips | | Rideshare | Similar, plus a wait | Meter style, can surge at peaks | Short light-luggage trips | | Public transit (MiWay and GO) | Longest, with transfers | Lowest | Visitors who like transit and travel light | | Driving yourself | Fast to the lot | Free parking at the venue | Regional visitors with their own car |
If a hotel shuttle to the show exists and its times suit you, take it. A booked car is for the days when the shuttle does not fit: the early load-in, the late finish, the group of eight, the box of samples.
Transit: MiWay, GO and the honest limits
Mississauga's bus service is MiWay, and its website has a Find your route tool that takes an address, a stop or a place and returns schedules and trip options. We recommend using it with the venue's address, because the best route depends on where you start. We are not able to confirm a direct connection from the airport terminals or the downtown core to the centre, so check before you rely on one.
GO Transit's trip planner is the other tool to use. For a delegate who is arriving in the city from Union Station, the train and bus network can work, but it takes planning and more than one leg. For a visitor with heavy bags or a tight schedule, the saving rarely justifies the time.
Pairing a show with the airport: the arrivals-to-hall transfer
The most common International Centre booking is a pickup from Pearson at the end of a flight and a drive straight to the show. A few habits make it smoother.
- Book the pickup against the flight number so that we can track the arrival.
- Tell us the terminal if you know it. Pearson has Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and the walk from the gate to the pickup zone differs.
- Allow time for customs on international arrivals. Our free waiting time is 60 minutes after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones.
- If you want someone to meet you inside arrivals with a name board, ask for the meet-and-greet add-on. Our meet and greet page explains the service.
For the return, plan to leave the hall at least ninety minutes before an international flight and at least an hour before a domestic one, longer on a weekday morning. The Airport Road corridor is short, but the check-in and security lines at Pearson are not.
From the suburbs: Brampton, Mississauga and Vaughan to the show
The International Centre is also a suburban destination. Families from Brampton, Mississauga and Vaughan visit for consumer shows and community events. From Brampton the drive is roughly 15 km and 20 to 30 minutes outside peak hours. From the Mississauga city centre it is roughly 20 km, and from Vaughan roughly 20 km. These are approximate figures and traffic changes them, but they show why a short private trip is practical.
For groups of eight to fourteen, an Executive Sprinter seats 12 to 14 passengers with 12 or more bags and is easier than a convoy of cars. The Brampton limo service page covers pickups there, and our Sprinter van service page explains group bookings. Larger groups can ask about a mini-coach, and availability and the exact vehicle are confirmed at booking.
Evening events, community gatherings and late returns
Not every event at the International Centre is a trade show. Large community conventions and cultural gatherings run into the evening, and a late return matters. A taxi line outside a big hall can be long at closing time. A pre-booked car with a chauffeur who tracks the schedule avoids it. Our 24/7 dispatch means a late finish is not a problem.
Alcohol rules follow Ontario law and are confirmed at booking, and we do not promise drinks on board. For prom and graduation trips, the rule is strictly alcohol-free.
Accessibility, families and children
The venue's website does not give full accessibility details in the pages we reviewed, so check the event organiser's visitor page for accessible entrances and parking. If a passenger uses a wheelchair or walker, mention it when you book and the chauffeur will be ready to assist at the curb. Child, toddler and booster seats are available when requested at booking, and our car seat service page explains the options.
Weather: winter lots and summer heat
Large open parking areas mean exposure to the weather. In winter, snow and ice make a long walk from a distant lot hard, especially in dress shoes. In summer the sun on a large paved lot is a quiet problem for children and older relatives. A chauffeur who drops you near your entrance and waits for you removes both. If a snowstorm is forecast, we recommend an earlier pickup and a longer buffer on the way to the airport.

Frequently asked questions
How far is the International Centre from Pearson Airport?
The venue says it is minutes from Toronto Pearson. Door to door it is usually about 6 to 9 km and 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the terminal and the traffic on Airport Road. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
How far is the International Centre from downtown Toronto?
About 30 km, usually 35 to 60 minutes depending on the 427, the 401 and the Gardiner Expressway. For a downtown hotel, build in a buffer for the morning peak.
Which entrance should I ask my chauffeur for?
It depends on your event. The venue uses numbered entrances and different events use different ones, for example Entrance 1 for one trade show, Entrance 3 for a public summit and Entrances 2 and 3 for a convention. Check the show's visitor page and give us the number at booking.
Is parking free at the International Centre?
The venue says complimentary parking is available. A booked car is still useful if you do not want to drive, if you are flying in, or if the event ends late.
Can you pick me up at Pearson and take me to a show?
Yes. We track your flight, give you 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones, and can arrange a name-board meet-and-greet as an add-on.
Is the hotel shuttle better than a private car?
If your hotel runs a shuttle to the show and the times suit you, it is often the lowest-cost choice. A private car is better when you carry samples, arrive late, travel as a group or have a tight schedule. Ask your hotel whether a shuttle runs on show days.
Can you take a large group from Brampton or Mississauga?
Yes. An Executive Sprinter seats 12 to 14 passengers, and larger groups can ask about a mini-coach. Availability and the exact vehicle are confirmed at booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
With more than 72 hours' notice there is no charge. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10 percent, at 48 hours or less it is 50 percent, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show it is 100 percent, measured from the scheduled pickup time.
