A Blue Jays home game turns the blocks around 1 Blue Jays Way into a single moving crowd. The stadium stands south of the railway corridor, beside the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, in a tangle of streets that were never designed to move a full house at once. That is exactly why the drop-off and the pickup need a plan.
This is a limo-and-black-car guide written from the kerb. It covers where a chauffeured vehicle can stop, how long the drive is from Pearson and the suburbs, what the crowd does when a game or a stadium concert ends, and the days when the train is simply the better choice. None of it requires you to book with us.
What is the best way to get to Rogers Centre on Blue Jays game day?
For a Rogers Centre limo on game day, ask your chauffeur to drop you on Bremner Boulevard or near Union Station, then walk the last few minutes. After the game, meet the car on a quieter street away from the stadium doors. From Pearson the drive is about 27 km, usually 30–50 minutes.
The reason for the short walk is the layout. The Jays' official ballpark page gives the address as 1 Blue Jays Way, and the CN Tower next door says guests can be dropped off and picked up on Bremner Boulevard, just south of the Tower and just east of the stadium. A chauffeur can usually stop there briefly, let you out, and move on before the line of cars behind catches up.
The pickup is where the plan matters. We do not park a car in front of the gates. We agree a meeting point with you, usually a few minutes' walk from the stadium, and you walk to it once the crowd has thinned. To lock that in, get an instant fare and add the game end time as a note.
Where Rogers Centre sits and why it feels cut off
Think of the stadium as a block you reach from three directions. From the east you come along Front Street and Bay Street. From the north you cross the railway on bridges and walkways. From the south you arrive along Bremner Boulevard and the waterfront. Union Station sits a short distance to the east and connects to the stadium by the SkyWalk, an enclosed walkway that the CN Tower's own guide describes as the link from the station to its entrance.

The CN Tower also notes an outdoor route: the Rod Robbie (John Street) Bridge crosses from Front Street West toward the Bremner Boulevard entrance. If your chauffeur stops on the Front Street side, that is the outdoor way across.
For a driver the lesson is blunt. The best parts of the neighbourhood are reached on foot, and the roads exist mainly to bring you within a short stroll of them.
When the baseball season runs, and what else fills the building
Blue Jays home games run from the spring home opener through to the end of the regular season in late September, with October home dates only if the team qualifies for the postseason. The exact schedule changes every year and is published on the team's official site at mlb.com/bluejays. We never quote game dates or start times here; check the club before you book.
The stadium also hosts concerts, large conferences and other events through the year. Each has its own entry points and its own end time. A baseball game ends when the last out is recorded and can run long. A stadium concert ends on a fixed schedule. The pickup plan below works for both, but the buffer you leave is different.
If your day starts with the Tower, the aquarium or a stroll along the waterfront, our guide to the CN Tower and Harbourfront in one afternoon puts those stops in order.
Driving in: Pearson, the Gardiner and the suburbs
Most visitors arrive on the Gardiner Expressway, then drop to Lake Shore Boulevard or exit near the core. Typical trips:

- Pearson to Rogers Centre: about 27 km, usually 30–50 minutes. Allow an hour on a weekday evening, when commuter and fan traffic meet on the Gardiner.
- Markham to Rogers Centre: roughly 35 km, 40–70 minutes via the 404 and Don Valley Parkway, depending on the hour.
- Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to Rogers Centre: roughly 2 to 3 km, 10–15 minutes. See our Billy Bishop airport page for how the mainland pickup works.
- Downtown hotels to the stadium: a few minutes by car. In decent weather it is quicker to walk.
If you want one booking that handles both the airport and the game, tell the booker where you are coming from, and the exact fare for your address and vehicle is shown before you confirm. Our airport limo service in Toronto page lists every airport we serve.
The drop-off: what the venues publish
The ballpark's official page lists the address, and we have found no published limousine zone, so we do not claim one exists. What the CN Tower publishes is specific and useful:
- Guests can be dropped off and picked up on Bremner Boulevard, just south of the Tower and east of the stadium.
- A Wheel-Trans designated stop is at Gate 7 of Rogers Centre.
- The Tower's main entrance is at 290 Bremner Boulevard, between the stadium and Ripley's Aquarium.
- The SkyWalk connects Union Station to the area.
Treat these as the neighbourhood's public pattern rather than a guarantee for any single game. Police and event staff close, open and redirect lanes on game days, and the chauffeur follows the officer on the corner, not a printed map. If you have mobility needs, say so at booking so that your stopping point is planned around the nearest suitable entrance.
The post-game pickup plan
A game or concert ending releases a very large crowd at once, and much of it spills into the roadway. Cars that try to push through lose time and make everyone cross.

The plan:
- Settle the meeting point before the first pitch. Pick a corner away from the stadium doors, a couple of minutes' walk from where the crowd peaks, and agree it with your chauffeur.
- Decide how you will leave. Either go in the seventh or eighth innings if the result no longer matters, or stay to the end and linger for fifteen to twenty minutes.
- Walk, do not wait. The car meets you; it does not queue in front of the gates.
- Keep one contact person. If you are with a group, one phone number is easier than six.
- Have a fallback. Union Station is a short walk away, so a blocked street is an inconvenience rather than a crisis.
Baseball can run past the scheduled time with extra innings, so tell us if you want to hold the pickup until the game is actually over. Cancellations are measured from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice is free, 72 hours or less is 10%, 48 hours or less is 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%.
Parking if you drive yourself
The CN Tower's guide lists two paid lots close to the stadium. One is the south lot of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, entered from Lower Simcoe Street off Bremner Boulevard or Lake Shore Boulevard. The other is the Impark lot on Navy Wharf Court, on the west side of the stadium just north of Bremner Boulevard. Accessible parking is limited and reserved through Rogers Centre Parking with an accessible permit.
On a busy game day those lots fill early and the streets around them stall. The practical advice is to leave the car at home and take the train. If you must drive, arrive well before first pitch, and expect a slow exit afterwards.
Groups, bachelor parties and the big-night option
Groups are the strongest case for a private vehicle. Our fleet for a stadium night works like this, with the vehicle confirmed at booking:

- Executive Sedan: up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 carry-on bags.
- Luxury SUV: up to 6 passengers, 5–6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter: 12–14 passengers, 12+ bags.
- Stretch Limousine: 8–10 passengers, booked hourly.
- Mini-coach or party bus: 20–30 passengers, booked hourly.
Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are subject to availability, and the exact vehicle is confirmed at booking. For a corporate outing, a birthday or a bachelor party, an Executive Sprinter with one pickup point is easier to run than four cars. See our party bus in Toronto page for larger groups, and the concert and sports limo service page for how we handle evenings built around an event.
Alcohol rules follow Ontario law and are confirmed at booking. We never promise drinks on board.
Families, car seats and accessibility
A day game with children is a different plan from a night game with friends. The practical tips:
- Request child, toddler or booster seats at booking, and we provide them in the vehicle. See our car seat service page.
- If you are travelling with a stroller, mention it so the chauffeur allows luggage space.
- For wheelchair users, the Wheel-Trans stop at Gate 7 is the CN Tower's published reference point, and the club's official page links to its accessibility information. Read it before the game.
Allow more time with children. A stadium exit at a walking pace takes longer than an adult plan assumes.
Weather, the roof and what to wear
Toronto weather changes quickly. Heat on a July afternoon, a sudden storm on a spring evening and a cold wind off the lake in April and late September are all normal. The stadium's retractable roof helps inside, but it does not shelter the walk from the car or the platform.
Carry a rain jacket, wear shoes you can walk in and expect the last leg to be outdoors. In wet weather, a short walk to a pickup point feels longer than it looks on a map, so ask for a meeting point on the nearest side street, not three blocks away.
Honest alternatives: when the train wins
The stadium is a short walk from Union Station, which makes the train and the subway the default for many fans. The numbers below show when the car earns its place.
| Option | Typical time | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| TTC subway to Union Station, then SkyWalk | Depends on starting point | Lowest | Fans who live along a subway line |
| GO Transit to Union Station | Depends on the line | Low | Visitors from the 905, if the last train suits them |
| UP Express from Pearson | About 28 minutes to Union | Low | Airport arrivals going straight to the game |
| Walking from a downtown hotel | 10–25 minutes | Free | Anyone staying within reach |
| Taxi or rideshare | 30–50 minutes from Pearson | Meter plus surge on game days | Short trips outside the peak window |
| Private black car or limousine | 30–50 minutes from Pearson | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, families, luggage and late exits |
The official UP Express site states that Pearson to downtown takes 28 minutes, and the TTC and GO Transit publish current schedules. If you travel light and live near a station, take the train. If you are with a group, have luggage, or need a reliable ride home late, the car is easier. Our Union Station car service page covers the station end.
A simple game-day plan
- Decide the group size and whether you need one vehicle or two.
- Plan the outbound trip around the traffic, not the first pitch.
- Book and add the game end time.
- Agree a meeting point with your chauffeur on the day.
- Charge your phone and keep one contact person.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the best place to be dropped off for a Blue Jays game?
Bremner Boulevard, just east of the stadium and south of the CN Tower, is the street the Tower itself recommends for drop-offs and pickups. Your chauffeur stops where the officers on duty allow and confirms the spot with you.
How far is Rogers Centre from Pearson by car?
About 27 km, usually 30–50 minutes. Weekday evenings take longer. The online booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you pay.
Can my driver wait for me during the game?
Not at the stadium. We keep the car on a quieter street and meet you at the point you agreed after the game, once the first wave has gone.
Is the SkyWalk open to everyone?
The CN Tower's guide describes the SkyWalk as the link from Union Station to the stadium area. Check the club's official page for access details on game days, because entry rules vary.
What about Wheel-Trans or wheelchair access?
The CN Tower lists a Wheel-Trans designated stop at Gate 7 of Rogers Centre. Tell us at booking if you need a stopping point planned around mobility needs.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Child, toddler and booster seats are provided when you request them at booking.
Is the train faster than a car after the game?
Often, for solo travellers or couples with a good train home. A pre-booked car is usually calmer for groups, families, luggage and late departures.
What if the game goes into extra innings?
Tell dispatch you want to hold the pickup until the game is over. Cancellations are measured from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice is free, 72 hours or less is 10%, 48 hours or less is 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%.
Is alcohol allowed in the vehicle?
Alcohol rules follow Ontario law and are confirmed at booking. We do not promise drinks on board.
